Chapter 42 [The one in Red]

Tatsumi's P.O.V

It was quite early in the morning but i couldn't really sleep anymore so i ended up getting out of bed, for some reason i felt that something was...off for some reason, it was like something or someone was watching me and waiting for me to make a move.

I ended up going for a walk in the wood's but that didn't calm me down anymore in fact it just made that feeling worse, way worse.

Tatsumi:(Did the Jeager's find our base? Ugh why do i feel so weird? Maybe it's just me being overly paniced or something like that.)

At that moment i heard a stick being crushed, kinda like when you step on an old stick that fell from a tree.

Tatsumi:"Who's there!?"

I had my Devil Sword ready to cut someone in half just incase someone jumped out at me, i was feeling very uneasy the entire walk as if someone was stalking me and waiting for there moment to strike, but now that i heard something i knew someone had to be following me.

Tatsumi:"Don't try to hide from me i know you're there!"

As i got closer i saw someone in a large red cloak start running the other way so i gave chase.

Tatsumi:"Stop right there!":(Who is this and why are they stalking me? There has to be a reason to it and i wanna know why.)

After a couple minute's of chasing this stalker i finally cornered them and no matter what they did they wouldn't be able to get away.

Tatsumi:"Gotcha, now get talking asshole before i have to gut you like a fish."

????:"Heheheh look's like you caught me."

Tatsumi:(I'd know that voice from amywhere.):"Dante."

Dante:"Yup that's my name, at least to my knowledge it is."

Now this feeling in my stomach turned from uneasyness to disgust, did he really fake his own death just to make me to join the revolutionary army?

I was lost for word's at this point but a few certant fowlic word's were about to come out of my mouth.

Dante:"C'mon, give me a hug."

I slaped his hand's away and started tearing into him.

Tatsumi:"You really think you deserve a hug after that stunt? You just faked dying so i would end up in this war didn't you? I should kick your ass here and now for that one, you might be my father but that won't stop me from making you regret being born!"

Dante:"Hey buddy, i understand you're angry but please listen."

Tatsumi:"Listen to you? And why so you can feed me a line of garbage?-

-And why should i listen to that bullcrap? I thought you were dead so i took up your mantle as a devil hunter just for it all to mean nothing, me and my friend's joined the revolution to avenge our village and what do we get? A huge slap in the face when it come's to light that the legend was just a lie!"

Regardless of how much i was yelling he still pulled me in for a hug.

Dante:"It'll make ya feel better afterward bud, now that i have your attention i can explain, i was dead but when you awakened your Sin Devil Trigger the shockwave that was released must have had a large amount of demonic power behind it 'cause it brought my ass back from the dead."

Tatsumi:(So he didn't fake it, i've got a tough time believing that one but if he's still here it might have some truth behind it.)

Dante:"Alright now that everything's been cleared up-

-Let's get back to that base of your's and take this fight to the capital."

Tatsumi:"If you do stay please be careful with Nero, he's quite fragle right now."

Dante:"What happened?"

Tatsumi:"Well, Kyrie was just killed by one of those asshole's from Wild Hunt and they turned out to be Nero's target so he ended up getting his revenge but i'd still be careful."

Dante:(Damn, a lot's happened while i was taking my dirt nap i've got catch up on that.)
