There she lay buried in the sheets curling into herself willing the tears to go away the tears of
regret and want to go back. Back to the past. Back to when they were there. Her joy. The person she didn't mean to make go away the one she wanted to stay regardless of whether the world was against her. The one who made her laugh countless times. The one she made plans for the far and near future with. The one who was going to be there when she needed them. The one she hoped she'd never lose along the uncertain path of life ... ... Her best friend.
