You might have forgotten him already so here's a recap of him: He is the Washer who erased the memories of Sophie from her human parents twice (once when Sophie left the human world for the Lost Cities and once when her parents were rescued from Nightfall). He is a minor character in KOTLC series - but still worth looking into!

1. I am not sure whether Mr. Forkle knew him but there is high possibility that he did not. Then in that case, it would have been impossible for Mr. Forkle to collect Damel's DNA.
