'What's his deal? Why do I find him terrifying all of a sudden?'

The silence between the three of you only makes you seem shady.

'Come on, (Y/n) say something!'

Again you gulp hard, "I'm not lying, I really did fall." You lied. "Ok then." He chirped reverting to normal. "I believe you." Your jaw drops at the fact that he easily bought your story. Regardless, it's a chance to escape and avoid further interrogation. "Yep, well I better go. See ya!" Mikey and Draken wave farewell until you disappear from their sight. "You don't seriously believe her, right?" Draken queried. "Nope. Something happened to her and I want to know who did it." He demanded. "Do you want me to ask some of the guys to watch over her?" Draken glances down at his commander "Yes." The tall male notices the slight irritation coming from the boy regardless of composed expression. He is the only one out of the founders to understand Mikey's inner thoughts and right now it's taking everything to keep himself from being reckless.

Day in and day out for the past three weeks you've struggled to manage your work and your bullies. There were times you wanted to break down, regretful about being a clumsy fool, however, it was better than the latter yet in the back of your head, you contemplated if you could hold out until graduation. The lack of breaks wasn't enough to fulfill every assignment let alone your own. You could barely keep up anymore and the fear of failing to achieve your high school goal wavered. It's a messy bind for you having no one to run to for help. You were all alone to struggle with your conflicts.

'How did it get to this? All I had to do was keep my head down and focus on school without any complications. This is all wrong.'

You sniffled, tears cascade out of frustration again while paperwork is neatly tucked away in the binder. You think back to the day you became a slave to a bunch of illiterate thugs. You showed the new girl around walked down the halls when she bumped into the brutes and you took the blame because you felt sorry for the new girl. You hated to see her frozen. "I should have just saved myself. Why did I have to stick my neck out? I'm totally screwed." You wipe your face realizing you have a meeting with the boys.

As you approach the front gates, you're pinned to the wall and met with a menacing glare from the leader. "You worthless bitch!" He growled. "Because of you, I'm going to repeat a grade." You shrink befuddled by his outburst. "What are you talking about?" He lifts you up from the collar just a few inches off your feet. "I'm talking about the fact that I got an F on my last assignment and now my parents are on my ass about it." He shoves the paper in your face as if you were too blind to see the big fat F. "B-but these are all correct. I read the chapter and even put enough detail just in case. Maybe-"

"-Maybe you're not as smart as you sold yourself out to be?" Your eyes widen fearing for your life. "Wh-what does that mean?" You asked. "It means, dumbass, that you're gonna pay in full for all the mess ya caused." One of the grunts responded. "You're gonna pay with your entire body rather than ya mouth." They chuckled. You turn pale and struggle to break free, kicking and crying for help. "No, wait please stop! Don't do this! I'm sorry." Your words are inaudible to them. The only thing on their mind is lust. Their disgusting hormones are visible when they pin you on the ground, tearing away at your uniform like nothing. A few buttons pop off while you desperately fight for freedom. Your arms are restrained by each of the boys and all you could do was watch as their hands grope at your soft skin. It sent a shiver down your back out of disgust. You wanted to hurl even blackout. It was too much to process and nobody was around to save you. "Look at that boys. She's not so nerdy after all." The leader licks his lips after pointing out your lacy bra. You shut your eyes tightly as the boys snap one of your bra straps in two. There was nothing you could do and the only thing running through your mind is:

'I want to go home. I want to wake up and pretend nothing ever happened. This isn't real. Please...somebody help me!'

At the beckon of your cries, someone finally steps forward presenting themselves with a kick to Sato's temple. The weight once suffocating you vanishes in a second, however, your vision is blurry to tell who the hero in question is. The grunts turn to the intruder. "Who the hell do you think you are kicking down our boss?" The trio of men thrust themselves at the short blonde who dodges their jabs. Easily, ending the three brutes with a swift counterattack. The force placed upon each punch was inhumane it could kill a man. The amount of strength developed onto the young man at such an age is a terrifying feat. You sit up still shaken up by the ordeal, but curiosity piques your interest. As you fix your lenses, you're surprised to find Mikey standing tall with Draken standing on the sidelines. The third-year students that once assaulted you laying flat on the floor at the blonde's feet. Once again an eerie aura emanates from Mikey when walking up to one of the lackeys.

"I could ask you guys the same thing," Mikey responded. "Who the hell do you think you are..." he stomps one of the grunt's faces into the dirt. "...attacking (Y/N)? I should kill you where you stand." Mikey's force on the male's head grows heavier as if ready to crush his skull. "Mikey?" Alas, your honey voice qualms the boy from doing so. "Hey, nerd~" His quick change in demeanor throws you off. He kneels before you to help adjust your torn uniform. At first, you flinch partly traumatized by what almost happened, yet he made sure to be gentle. His touch oddly warm knowing who it belongs to. "I'm glad I showed up in time. I heard you screaming for help." You gawk at his nonchalant face as if what he just did was a normal occurrence. Draken enters the scene asserting his presence to the bunch groveling beside Sato. "Tell your boss once he wakes up not to mess with (Y/n) unless you want to die. Anyone who does will have to deal with me. She will be under the care of the Toman. Understood?" The assaulters shudder with their tails tuck between their legs at the sight of Draken's glare. "Y-yes, sir!"

"Good, now get lost." Draken finishes before seeing them off and attending to Mikey's side. The blonde helps you up and drapes his jacket over you surprising Draken. "Thank you." And suddenly the overwhelming feeling kicks in. You are safe thanks to him. You cover your face as you weep in your hands. "Thank you...thank you so much." Mikey softly smiles out of relief. He didn't know what to say to comfort you except allow you to cry to your heart's content. "Let us walk you home." With that, you agreed while Draken gathers your belongings.

You stand in front of your house finally calming down. All you could hear during the walk was Mikey and Draken talking. It was honestly amusing. The tall blonde hands over your bag to which you thank the man for carrying it. You have nearly forgotten about it. Now you stood silent unsure of what to say. Draken notices Mikey somewhat sheepish taking the hint to stand by. "I'm glad we could walk you home, (Y/n). Try to get some rest and if you ever need us, we'll be at your call." He quipped. "Thank you, Draken."

"I'll wait over here." He points to the wall across giving the two of you some privacy. "Thank you again, Mikey. I'm glad you appeared just in time." You started. "No problem. I'm glad I was in the neighborhood when it happened. I figured something wasn't right when you scraped your knees for being "clumsy"." You blush embarrassed for lying. "Ah, so you could tell right away?" He chuckles and nods. "For someone smart, you're not good at lying." You puff your cheeks in offense. "I was trying my best! If it were the other way around I wouldn't be able to tell." You argued. "I've had my fair share of ruffians to know when you're being assaulted. Your collar gave it away." He said. You peek at your shirt seeing distinct wrinkles in the form of what could be a strangle. "Oh...I see." You murmured. "That was reckless even though I'm grateful you saved me, you could have gotten yourself hurt. I mean four against two would be a disadvantage. Not to mention you're probably going to have conflict because of me." You hang your head starting to feel bad.

"I couldn't very well just stand by while someone important to me is in trouble. Besides, I don't mind. I enjoy a good fight." You snap your head up at him surprised. "Wait what?" His smile grows wider as if he's been waiting forever to confess to you. "H-huh? Whaaaaat?!" You yelped. "Y-you l-l-like me?" Mikey laughs at your priceless expression. "Surprised?" You nod while slack-jawed. "I hope this doesn't deter you from being friends. Whatever you decide I'll be glad so long as you're by my side. Anyways, I better get going. Get some rest,(Y/n)." Just like that, you're left with your own thoughts.

"What the fuck....just happened?"
