From the book 'Arranged Bride'
Written by Sanu0000

There is nothing stronger
than a soft soul.

- JH Hard

She is caring and compassionate, but adamant! She is shy, but deity!
May be she annoyed you at some point with her introvert nature but in the end you will definitely fall for her!

Let's read some more interesting things about HER!

~~~~
Q: Mrs Purohit is so freaking Sweet,not to forget sexy. Tell something more about her?
A: Hmm Mrs Purohit is a timid girl. She was, and stress on
the word 'was' shy and
extremely introvert before
her marriage. Someone who
would always keep to
herself. Not display her
emotions and her feelings
much. She was just another
figment from our society .
Girls like her, we see them
all around. But again, the
thing that I wanted to
portray how a good life
partner can extract and
enhance the hidden
qualities from within you.
So yes, that's Mrs Purohit,
who had a lot of spark
inside her, which her
husband beautifully
extracted but again, within
the four walls of their
humble abode. Marriage is
sometimes polishing your
partner and make a better
version of them of yourself.
That was what Mr and Mrs
Purohit was doing with
each other
Q: was 'Ahuja' based on a real person or was she a pure figment of imagination?
A: Ms Ahuja is a fictitious
chara teri, bit again
someone we see all around
us. Someone unnoticeable
to our eyes, someone we
tend to overlook and ignore
yet, how beautifully her life
changed with the right man
Q: being both,soft and strong are rare ? How you managed both in her Character?
A: She was soft.. Her husband
made her strong. And that
was what arranged bride
was all about. How the right
person make you the nest
version of yourself and how
it is actually beautiful to
those two souls who live
everyday of their martial life
and spun a lifetime out of it.
A lifetime of memories.
They did that for
themselves and for us as
well.
Q: Among all your female characters, whome you do relate to the most?
A: None. A little of Mrs
Sachdev l am, but then she
too was all open with her
bestie only. I'm not that way
at all. But if you ask me, I
am more like the Shehnaaz
kaur gill from the Beautiful
nightmare, those who have
read it. Sassy, extremely out
spoken, bindaas badass.
Sarcasm dripping with
every remark... Lols..
Q: Favourite quality of Mrs Purohit?
A: Adjustment quality. She is
extremely adjusting.. I love
that about her. The very
best thing in a person. The
power to adapt and adjust
yourself. Because what
I see now a days, people
lack that quality. And mark
my words, by adjustment
do not mean compromise
at all. Yet, one should know
to be pliant and adoptive to
make a beautiful life post
marriage. Also, her
patience. I love Mrs Purohit
ka patience level. She
knows when her man is
angry and backs out right at
that time and then when the
time is right, she hits back.
One should have this
quality to balance a
relationship. Something
even I lack at times.
Q: what do you hate/ don't like about HER?
A: I wont say hate, but she's a
little too timid sometimes.
One should have the power
within herself to stand up
for her and speak for
herself. She was a lot timid
that way. Accepting
everything that was
inflicted upon her silently.
Q: If Sana had to give tips for wooing girls on Purohit ,what would she say? (Wink)
A: Don't you dare ogle at my
man! Mr purohit par sirf
unka copyright hai. So back
off.. Growls!!! Ha ha ha.
Few Questions from readers:
Q: What was the thought of the author while designing the physical appearance of character Sana Ahuja? Like to think abu how should be the Character of 19 year old girl should look like? Was it obvious or complected to weave?
A: I wanted to make a girl who
wasn't the hourglass
picture perfect. Who had
flaws, simple, yet someone
who looked beautiful to her
husband. Mujhe over the
top khoobsurat nahi
chahiye tha koi. I wanted
Someone simple. The
everyday girl that is more
Real.
Q: if she wasn't given a chance to go for abortion...what would have been her next step in the story?
A: To be honest, the original
plot was that only. But then,
I wanted him to change him
a little by the time I reached
that point in the story. So if
not abortion, she would
have gone with the flow.
She wasn't a homewrecker
kind of a girl just for the
sake of small little things.
As I said, she had amazing
adjustment qualities. So
she would have accepted
the baby and moved ahead
in life. She got much much
better than most don't in
life didn't she??
Q: Had Sidharth reached out to her before marriage...what would have been her reaction?
A: She would have declined for
sure. She wasn't at all
ready for marriage at that
point of time of her life. And
isn't that what is arranged
bride all about? Accepting a
marriage that she detested
in the beginning
Q: how she able to mange Purohit 's anger issues?
A: That's the thing no!
Marriage is all about how
you balance. Rangeet and
Rongyu remember?? And
that is marriage. She
became the missing piece
that her husband lacked.
Balancing their marriage.
Also, I designed her character such. Because arranged
bride wasn't about
individuality, it was a story
about how two people
adjust and compromise and
make a relationship click
and work for themselves
and make themselves
happy.
