Confessions and Candles | Armin x Reader

Prompt- Armin has a special request on his birthday

(Kinda short sorry)

"Happy birthday to you~" the group finished singing as Armin paused and then blew out the candles of the cake in front of him.

The entire day had been magical and he has lived ever second. His wide grin and the twinkle in his eyes never left as everyone celebrated the day with him.

Everyone clapped and cheered as Mikasa started to hand our slices of the cake to everyone. Peaceful chatter filled the room as everyone at and when everyone was finished Armin opened presents.

His smile only grew wider as he opened gifts and thanked them. Finally when it was nearing lights out you walked him back to his room.

"Did you have a good time today?" you asked as you walked side by side.

"It was perfect. I couldn't have hoped for anything better. Thank you Y/n. Though, I suppose there is one thing that could make it even better." he admitted.

"Really! I'm sorry I can plan it next year or-"

"No, no. That's not what I meant." he chuckled. "What I was implying is this," He stopped, turning towards you and holding your hands in his, "Y/n, would you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?"

"I-Is this what you meant?" You nervously asked.

"Well yes. So...? Whaddya say?" He asked hopefully.

"Yes. Yes!"

He sighed briefly before pulling you in a hug.

"Good cause that could've been awkward." You laughed in response as he held your hand and the both of you continued to walk to his room. Both of you unable to stop smiling.

"Hey Armin, I wanted to tell you happy birthday personally. I-I think your a great guy and i'm really happy to be with you."

Armin only blushed in response and pulled you closer though you knew he felt the same.
