It's been five days since the Draco and Pansy incident and now there was only two months left of school. Whenever they were finished with all their classes, Hermione would speedwalk ahead of Draco and ignore his apologies and lock herself in her room. Soon she had to tell Harry and Ron about what happened and hers and Draco's relationship. They didn't seem to happy about it but they helped her through tough times like this.

One day Hermione had forgotten to lock her door as she sat on her bed doing Potions class homework. Draco came in and she slightly jumped but hen glared at him not saying a word. "I don't know how many bloody apologies I have to give you but please it was an accident." He said as he sat at the foot of her bed. She narrowed her eyes to stop herself from crying and just continued writing.

He sighed and walked to the door. "I love you." He whispered and left. She froze. Did he just say 'I love you'? How dare he! After what he's done?! She glared at nothing specifically but then she smiled. He loved her. She bolted downstairs and hugged a puzzled Draco.

"I love you." She whispered back. He grinned and kissed her. Now they were back on together and everyone knew except Ron and Harry who she had to tell eventually and they didn't take it very well. They hesitated at first but accepted it.

Couple of days later, Professor McGonagall had anounced a party they were going to have to take everyone's mind of Voldemort.

"Why don't we all go?" Ginny asked to eight people at breakfast. Hannah and Neville nodded. Luna and Rolf smiled. Ron and Lavender both said sure and Hermione said "why not?" "Right but we go with our date." She turned to Harry. "Harry ask me." She hissed at a sleeping Harry. She pinched him and he jumped and everyone laughed. "What? Oh." He said looking at Ginny's 'ask-me' face. "Would you like to go with me?" He asked yawning. Ginny narrowed her eyes.

"Not as romantic as I expected but alright." She mumbled and everyone laughed again. As a few days passed the boys were asking out the girls in romantic and surprising ways. Then finally Draco asked Hermione when they were outside leaning on a tree. "Of course I would go with you." She whispered as he pulled her into a long, romantic kiss. They both stopped to catch air and grinned at each other.
