I woke up to loud sounds coming from downstairs.I groaned and wiped my eyes before checking the time on my phone.

"Fuck."I huffed and got up quickly

I turned on the shower and hopped in.When I was done, I got dressed and moisturized my face and body. I rushed down the stairs and saw party planners and staff setting up.

I looked around and saw Sophie helping and directing them.I walked over to her.

"Hey Sophie!"I got her attention

"Oh hey!"She said

"Okay sorry I overslept.What can I do to help?"I asked her

"Nothing.Aubrey told me not to let you lift a finger."She shook her head

I rolled my eyes."I don't see him anywhere.Just let me help with something, anything."

"No can do.I think he's out back though."She told me

"Thank you."I nodded

I went out to the back doors and saw a huge bounce house being blown up.Beside it was Aub, talking to some people.

I walked over and caught his eye.

"Good morning baby."He pulled me into his chest

I huffed.

"What's the attitude for?"He titled my head up to meet his eyes

"You didn't wake me up and you told Sophie not to let me help!"I said

"That's not what you should be worried about Jas.We have bigger issues and we don't need your help. That's why I hired all these people."He shook his head

"I can worry about more than one thing.I want to help."I argued

"I really don't have time for this shit today Jas.You can argue all you want tomorrow but not today."He asserted

"Fuck you."My lip started to tremble

"Don't start with the hormones bro.C'mon don't cry."He sighed

"Come eat some breakfast."He guided me into the kitchen

I saw a spread of food and Sandi with Adonis.

"Okay?Jas?"Adonis asked me

I wiped my eyes and nodded."Yeah I'm okay.Happy Birthday, baby!"

"Thank you!"He smiled as I kissed his cheek

"Hey Sandi."I hugged her

"Hey honey.You okay?"She asked lowly

I nodded."Just hormones."

I looked away from her and saw Aubrey making me a plate. I sighed and walked to his side.

"Here." He dropped the plate on the counter beside me causing some of my eggs to fall off of the plate

"Thank you."I mumbled

He pulled away from me and kissed Sandi's cheek before going back outside.I brought my plate over to the table and sat down quietly.

I ate my food trying to ignore Sandi's gaze.

"I heard you've been a little more irritable lately."She said

"I'm pregnant.I'm gonna be irritable."I said lowly

"That excuse only goes so far."She said lowly

I looked up from my plate to her, meeting her strong gaze.
