Luciano cracked each of his fingers, his eyes closed, deep in thought.

50 states in the world and in four years he's only been able to search 1 and a half of it.

So many countries, cities and regions.

The earth was too big. Too big to find one person.

He heard footsteps and his eyes opened and saw his nephew, Roel. Roel flipped a page in his book, and tapped on it. "Here is where you should be looking"

Luciano looked down, reading the words South America. He looked up confused, and Roel huffed. "You've gone about this all wrong. She would never go back to Atlanta."

"If she wants me to find her, she will" Luciano said and he shook his head.

"What if she doesn't?" Luciano's eyebrows furrowed and he began to glare at Roel. He definitely wasn't a child anymore, no more child punishments.

Roel put his hand on his shoulder, "Calm down. I am trying to help you"

"He's right. She doesn't" Adriano said as he walked in.

"She didn't abandon me" Luciano gritted through his teeth and Adriano nodded.

"She wouldn't" He said, "We know Teresa would never take you away from your children. She doesn't want you to find her because her children's life was threatened if she did. She wouldn't risk their lives and you know that."

"So you see, she wants you to find her, but not find her. Where would you think you would least find Teresa?" Roel asked, raising his eyebrow and Luciano looked down, giving thought to it.

She wants me to find her, but doesn't.

His eyes lit as he figured it out.

"Brazil"

Teresa huffed, as she was awakened from her sleep by her two little twins laughing loudly. She lifted her head from Carter's chest causing him to chuckle, Teresa feeling the vibrations from it. "Buon giorno" (Good Morning) He whispered, brushed her hair back, exposing her shoulder and he ran his hand down her arm.

"Why aren't they in school?" She asked and he chuckled once more.

"It's Saturday" He said and she groaned, knowing that was the end of her sleep.

Lifting up, she swung her legs over the bed, getting out. Walking downstairs with Carter following, she entered the kitchen, hearing a loud male's laugh. It definitely wasn't the twins. Then her eyes bulged and everyone turned to look at her.

"You're going to stand there big sister?" Her brother grinned.

" Rome!" She ran and jumped on him. He chuckled, wrapping his arms around her tightly, thrilled to his sister once more. Even though she was his older sister, she was more so the baby towards him. She didn't know how to be an older sister to a man. She wrapped her arms around his neck tighter, shaking as she cried on his shoulder.

A year since she's seen him. He moved for his job.

Carter chuckled, moving around them and Rome, settled her to the floor, as she wiped her face, giggling and sniffling.

" Don't cry," Rome said, wiping her tears away.

" Te extraño " ( I miss you) She said and he grinned, pulling her back into a hug.

"Te extraño para"( I miss you too)

Three months after the twins were born, she was in a stable place in Brazil. She didn't want to spend all her money, so she decided to get a small home. She once told Luciano she wanted to find her siblings and that's what she set out to do with Carter's help. It was a struggle to like them in the beginning because of how annoying they were, but months later, they were a happy family including her father. She forgave him for leaving. She wanted him to know his grandchildren since they wouldn't know their grandmother.
