Darkness then puts her hands on ours
Darkness: Those two slimly ladies earlier were allies of yours, right? What in the world did that to them?

Kazuma: They were swallowed by Giant Toads, and the mucus—
Darkness: What?! It's worse than I imagined. No wait! As a Knight, i cannot overlook such horrors befalling two girls of such tender age

Darkness grips Kazuma's arm tighter

Kazuma: W-Well, the decision is up to my party leader, so its his decision, bye!
Kazuma quickly runs out of the guild with Me and Darkness watching after him, my eye twitches as i think
Y/n: I am going to kick his ass tomorrow
Darkness: So, can i join?
I look at Darkness and i could see it in her eyes that she really wanted to be in our party, even if it was for being a masochist
Y/n: *sigh* How about this, you said your aim was sloppy, right?
Darkness nods
Y/n: So for tonight, practice your aim. Then come and find us tomorrow, and I'll give you my answer, got it?
Darkness: Got it! I'll make you proud!
I nod and give her a pat on the head that makes her blush before i walk out of the guild and back to the inn
The Next Day
Me and Kazuma walked up to the guild hall, Kazuma had a couple bruises on his face from a... "accident"... yeah, let's go with that. We walk inside and see Aqua doing some party tricks for some adventurers
Aqua: Oh, look, Y/n, Kazuma! What for you think of my newly acquired skill? Isn't it befitting of a water goddess like myself?
We just looked at her with a straight face before we went over to the bar where Megumin was eating some food
