They abused their power, threatening, terrorizing and torturing the innocent people they were sworn to protect. As expected soon the word of the so called 'evil' knights reached the royal court. The Knights had to atone for their sins and pay the price. The king declared that all 13 knights be captured and be inflicted with the suffering and pain they brought upon others, using a spell and many legions of soldiers the Knights were finally captured. They were kept in a constant state of pain and despair on the brink of death for a few years. On the last day of their lives, the knight cast a spell. They told their captors 'Thirteen evils will you face, one for each life you take'. It was soon found out that every year the dead knights would grow stronger as ghouls and on every 20th anniversary of their death they would take material form and terrorize the people. However on the 160th anniversary the 13 Knights would permanently obtain physical form on this earthly plane and bring about chaos and terror on the world they were forsaken from... This is the 160th anniversary the final year before destruction. The final generation of Knights are the world's last defense from anarchy.
