Seron started running, tripping over a branch; panicking. I don't want to die he thought. I have to keep running, I can't stop. What if I end up rotting just like the rest of them? I can't stop, I can't-
"Shit," Seron says under his breath as he hits the end. It's the edge of the world.
"Help me!" A girl cries out following with a scream. "Help! Someone!"
"I'm coming!" Seron yells out. I need to help this girl, even if it's the last thing I do, Seron thought. There are many bodies in the White and Green Forest. There shouldn't be anymore.
Seron found the girl, unconscious. Carefully held her in his arms, checking her pulse; she's alive. He picks her up and carries her to a hidden area. He checks to make sure no one is near and stays with her.
Wide eyed, she screams and starts to run until Seron grabs her and covers her mouth.
"I'm not here to hurt you, I'm here to keep you safe from this shit-hole of a place. Do not scream or they will come." Seron says in a hushed voice. The girl calms down and relaxes.
"What is your name?" Seron asked
"Fyra" the girl answers
"Well fyra, nice to meet you, my name is Seron"
The girl nods, and starts staring at something. Seron follows her eyes and sees it, one of the hunters.
"Shit."
The last thing that was heard was a singular loud bang, then silence.
