Ash Ketchum's POV
My mom would tell me one huge tale about how she and my father knew each other and got married. They were small bits of the story. None of them continued the last each night, making them technically random. I had to find out which came before and after. And yet out of all of them, I was never told how Dad proposed to her.
But if I were to guess how, I would say it was something kinda like how I went through with Serena. An airport, with people that have supported you through the whole journey, and the one request that would change both of us. At first I did not want Serena to lose her Performing dream, but she eventually convinced me that traveling around the world is a good experience for both of us.
Greninja and Pikachu were more happy to us being together. Actually, the friends that gathered to see me leave couldn't stop smiling and cheering when I finally accept her plan. It felt much better than I thought leaving Kalos alone would be. Mom almost lost her balance when she saw Serena with me and was told about our relationship. Her second reaction was more happy than surprise as if she wanted this to happen.
Alain promised something of an official goodbye just as we left. I was having a hard time wondering what it was until a week later. The one card with various colored pen inks that told me how not alone I was.

Serena's voice reached me. Pikachu and Greninja were outside with the other Pokemon getting accustomed towards more family members. I checked my badge collection one more time to see the Kalosian case flashing with the rest of them.
One chapter has ended. And our real Journey begin.

Just because this book ends doesn't mean that's it. There would be another Pokemon Story that would tie as a Spin off while making it connected to Sun and Moon. Great 25th Pokemon Anniversary!
