SOMETHING WAS BREWING.
And he could feel it.
Something was beginning to stir, and the sound of ringing in his ears began to intensify even more if that was possible. And came to the point where he couldn't think straight and only saw red and darkness.
The darkness he liked. The darkness welcomed him where the red made him feel different.
Thankfully, Harry didn't notice.
Unfortunately, Louis always did.
It was almost like he noticed everything. Almost every time the ringing would get louder, Louis always appeared to be near. And whenever he saw red, Louis wasn't too far behind.
Those things only seemed to increase as time went on. Over the next few days, he noticed a change forming between the two men. A change he wasn't fond of. The conversation that happened in the bathroom appeared to be long forgotten as smiles were always on their faces at any time during the day.
That didn't make Edward feel any better when he realized those smiles were being reserved for someone else. Someone unworthy.
And he knew something had to be done.
If only so the ringing could finally be silenced.
