Part Six: Those rainy days inside us all

Yay another part written! This one is a bit on the sad side, or at least a bit depressing. It's been raining all day for me, so I thought I'd put something like that in this part.

Sunday morning, Makoto's room
(Makoto's pov)

It has been raining all night. I don't know if it's just me, but sometimes when it rains I get a little sad. I wouldn't call it depression or anything, but I guess it feels similar to it.

It was early in the morning, around 6:30 AM. I didn't really sleep that well last night, but since I'm now awake, why not just stay awake.

I should be happy, especially after I had my date with Sousuke yesterday, but I couldn't help but feel sad.

Aside from the raindrops falling, my room was pretty quiet. All of a sudden I heard my phone vibrate. Who could be texting me at this hour? Might as well check anyway since I'm up.

It was Sousuke. Why would he be texting me? I guess I better see what he has to say.

Sousuke:
Hey Makoto, sry if I woke you up or anything. I just kinda wanted to talk to ya. Don't worry, nothing bad happened.

He just wanted to talk? I wonder why, maybe he knew I also wanted someone to talk to?  I probably should text back.

Me:
Oh hi Sousuke. You didn't wake me. I've actually been up for a while, couldn't sleep hehe. What do you wanna talk about then?

Sousuke:
Same here, the rain kept me up. Doesn't the rain make ya feel down, or is that just me? :/

Makoto:
Yeah it can kinda be depressing sometimes. I wish it was sunny, like picnic weather :3

Sousuke:
Yeah that would be nice. But hey, don't let the rain getcha down. The rain can be fun too, like it makes the streets into huge pools sometimes.

Makoto:
Thanks Sousuke, I'll try not to. And huge pools? I betcha Haru would go swimming in it XD

Sousuke:
Yeah I bet he would haha. Hey, I wanted to ask ya something......

Makoto:
Hmmm what is it?

Sousuke:
It's about our date. Did you enjoy it? I tried to make it go as,smoothly as I could without being a nervous wreck.....

Makoto:
Don't worry about being a nervous wreck, you should've seen me before you met me at the train station XD
And our date was wonderful, so far one of the best days of my life ;3

Sousuke:
I'm glad you enjoyed it since I did too. Even though I wasn't planning for Haru and his girlfriend to come with us, they actually made it more fun. Except for the roller coasters. QAQ

Makoto:
First dates usually never go as planned, or at least I've been told. And I agree with you on the roller coasters....... T^T

Sousuke:
Haha yeah they're scary.

Makoto:
Yeah XD

Sousuke:
Hey Makoto, what are you doing today? I know this seems a bit sudden after our first date, but if you're free, do you wanna go somewhere? Not really as a date tho, more of just an outing?

Makoto:
Well it's a little early now, but I don't mind. In fact, I actually wanted to see you today. I guess being with you sounds way better than feeling down in my room.
