Maya's POV
I turned to kiss Carina's cheek as I rubbed my eyes and began to get up.
I looked at my phone 4:00am. Damn. Why was I up.
I got up and walked over to Mia's room and slowly opened the door to find her wide awake
"Hey" she said as she saw me at the door "why are you up?" She asked
"I should be asking that same question" I said as I walked over
"Just woke up" she said
"You had to call Carina in last night" she asked with a smile
"Sorry. You left me no choice" I said smiling and sat down next to her bed "Does it hurt" I asked and she shook her head
"You now. Your face doesn't say the same and I'd be worried if it didn't hurt. You're off meds" I said
"I'm okay" she said and I got up and grabbed her pills
"I know what you think about this" I said as I lifted the pills "you're not with him Mia. You're not" I said
"Maya I'm just.." she began and I cut her off
"You're in pain. That's what you are. You're post op and you're in pain." I said and she looked at me "you're with me now. Not with him" I said
"I'm still scared of him" she said weakly and I laid down next to her wrapping an arm round her
"I know" I whispered and kissed her top head "but I swear to god that's over. You're not going anywhere close to him" I said as I leaned over and handed her the pill which she looked with terrified eyes "it's okay" I assured as I gave her water and she took down the pill and rested her head on my shoulder

Carina's POV
I felt Maya climbing into bed again and wrapped her hands round my waist
"Hey" I said as I turned to face her and she smiled "what?" I smiled
"Just. Everything is getting better" she smiled as she got closer.
Around 7am we both got up from bed and had breakfast in the kitchen
"You gotta head to work soon?" I asked and she said "gotta be in at 9"
"Oh okay" I smiled as we both sat down on the couch snuggling close to her "so you got everything under control last night" I said and she smiled
"Yeah for once" she said
"I told you, you've got this under control" I said
After some minutes we heard some noise coming through the hallway and Mia came in with her crutches as both of us looked at her
"Look at you" smiled Maya as she sat up and both of us stood up
"Got you" I said as I helped her sit down on the couch "that was amazing Bella"
"Feeling quite better" she nodded and turned to both of us "sorry for being a nightmare last night"
"Mia there's nothing to worry about" I smiled and looked at Maya
"Oh no, you were total nightmare last night" she smiled and I playfully hit her top head
"At all" I said seriously "pain?" I asked and she shook her head
"That's great" smiled Maya as her phone rang "argh. Gotta head over to PD in an hour" she sighted
"Dixon?" I asked and she sighted
Mia turned to me and asked "Can I get showered today?" 
"Yeah course" I smiled "just you can't get stitches wet and no weight on the leg. At least for a week"
She nodded and said "okay then. So what was easy showering now is a challenge"
"You'll get used to it. And it's just for some time" said Maya

Maya's POV
After helping Mia in, as she was getting showered I laid down on her bed staying close just in case.
Carina came over and stoped by
"Hey" she smiled as she sat down next to me
"Showering patrol" I smiled as I placed my arm round her waist
She laughed and said "yeah. Keep an eye on that just in case"
I nodded and kissed her lips as my phone rang
"Yeah?" I asked as I picked up, carina looked at me with a confused face and I answered "I'll be there in about 2 minutes"
"What happened?" She asked as I got up
"Argh. Just, the other team. They crashed getting the engine inside" I sighted not being able to believe how they could be that useless. I rushed and knocked on Mia's door saying "being called emergency. Gotta go."
"Go go" said Carina as she followed me to the door
"Damn. Mia she's in the shower" I said grabbing my phone
"Maya Maya." Carina smiled "im here. I've got it" she said "let me help"
I nodded and kissed her deeply "I love you" as I rushed out of the house

Carina's POV
As I closed Maya's door I sat down back again on my laptop finishing some charting for tonight.
I got myself a coffee and paperwork was done before I could even realise.
As I was getting finished the last one I heard a loud noise coming from Mia's room
I couldn't believe I had forgotten while I was on my paperwork.
I rushed my way over to the bathroom and knocked on the door
"Bella?!" I asked worriedly waiting for a response.
"Carina? Oh thanks god" I heard from the inside
"Yes yes, I'm here. Maya had to go. I'm here. Are you okay?!" I asked
"I... I slipped over" I heard from the inside "I think I tore a stitch" she said almost crying "can... can you please help me?"
As soon as I heard that I bursted inside and wrapped her in a towel as I helped her up and into her room to notice her knee was bleeding all over.
"Okay, it's okay" I said smiling trying to keep her calm and was totally not helping "It's just some superficial bleeding nothing deep"
"I thing I torn them" she said definently trying not to cry
"You did, but not all of them" I said pressing with gauze. "No worries. It's gonna be okay, I've got nothing to suture up here but, I can drive you with me okay?" I said and she nodded.

As I helped her get ready and grabbed my stuff we both headed towards the hospital. We got there in some minutes and I parked in my usual spot as we both headed inside.
"I'll get Callie to come see what she wants to do" I said as I paged Callie

Before got to the room my pager began to beep and I read 911 one of my patients
"go go" said Mia
"you sure?" I asked not wanting to leave her alone
"course" she smiled as I smiled back and said "Okay, I'll come find you as soon as I'm finished and I'll update Maya okay?" I said since I knew she wouldn't want to tell Maya"

"hey bella" I said as I picked my phone
"hey, everything sorted, the engine will be at the mechanic for at least two more weeks. Tone of paperwork coming up" she sighted
"sorry to hear" I said "that's what happens when they don't have such a hot captain as your crew does"
Maya laughed and said "guilty. What are you up to?" she asked
"We're at the hospital" I said and Maya didn't reply "Mia slipped, as she was getting showered, some of her stitches got tonred apart but she's okay. She's with Callie right now"
As I heard no response I asked "Maya?"
"Sorry, sorry. Just, I told her to let someone know when she was getting out exactly because of this" she sighted
"hey no worries, she is okay, she will be okay." I reassured her
"I love you" she said as I smiled to myself
"Love you too Bella" I said

Maya's POV
Argh, course, she was just like me. You tell her not to do something and that's the first thing she'll do.
"hey" I heard Andy on my door as she walked in "you look mad" she laughed
"not mad" I smiled "just worried"
"Maya" she smiled "you're doing a great job, your only problem is that you're putting way too much preassure on yourself" she said and I nodded
"You know, the day she broke her knee, we found something quite interseting" I smiled
"spill" said Andy
"seems there's a senior guy hovering around" I said
"Go Bishops" laughed Andy and made me chuckle
"right, go Bishops" I said
"ohhh, someone's jealous" she said and I shook my head
"you're an awful liar" she laughed "what did she say about it?"
"haven't told her" I said "I'm gonna go pick her up now"
"Ha, seems there's gonna be some gossip at 19 in some minutes" she smiled and I rolled my eyes
