Dryya parried Hollow's attack and responded with one of her own. Hollow backstepped and lunged at Dryya with his nail in front of him just as Dryya charged. At the last moment, he turned his nail sideways slightly as not to hurt her too badly, and the two of them collided with each other. The air was knocked out of Hollow.
"Ow," said Hollow, rubbing the spot where Dryya had crashed into.
"Are you OK?" Dryya asked, with perhaps more concern than necessary.
"I'm fine," he wheezed slightly. Hollow took a few gulps and air and felt slightly light-headed. "Maybe we should take a break from sparring," he said after a while.
"Yeah, great idea," Dryya enthused. The two of them sat there for a while, before Dryya got up. "Well, I'm sorry Hollow, I've got to go," she said. Hollow looked at her with pleading eyes.
"Can't you stay a bit longer?" he asked quietly. Dryya gave a small half-smile.
"Well I suppose I could... for three minutes only," she added. Hollow nodded.
"That's good enough for me."

Hollow ran into Dryya again the very next day.
