36: I need your help

Start from the beginning

They were waving little glowing stars from side to side.

"Someone holds me safe and warm.
Horses prance through a silver storm.
Figures dancing gracefully across my memory."

In came the other instruments, and I noticed some couples were dancing in the isles, fathers with their little girl in their arms. That made me really project my voice.

"Far away, Long ago, glowing dim as an ember.
Things my heart, Used to know
Things it yearns to remember.
And a song someone sings."

Back to just the piano, and the lights on me.

"Once upon a December."

Applause and cheers all around. We all bowed "*sigh* So, you all ready for the second one." Children were jumping saying 'yes.' "Ok so I came up with this one while walking, and this song could be for everyone, but good news gentlemen this ones for you—old to in your mothers arms. I gave them a laugh before I began.

"... I have often dreamed of a far off place
Where a hero's welcome would be waiting for me
Where the crowds would cheer, when they see my face
And a voice keeps saying this is where I'm meant to be."

While the music plaid I walked.

"I'll be there someday, I can go the distance
I will find my way if I can be strong
I know every mile would be worth my while
When I go the distance, I'll be right where I belong."

To the other side.

"Down an unknown road to embrace my fate
Though that road may wander, it will lead me to you."
I looked at my dad.
"And a thousand years would be worth the wait
It might take a lifetime but somehow I'll see it through."

Center stage.

"And I won't look back, I can go the distance
And I'll stay on track, no I won't accept defeat."
I moved my hand back.
"It's an uphill slope"
Then up.
"But I won't loose hope, 'till I go the distance
And my journey is complete, oh yeah."

"But to look beyond the glory is the hardest part
For a hero's strength is measured by his heart, oh."

I made a fist, then opened it up. The audience did the same thing and waved their hands side to side.

"Like a shooting star, I will go the distance
I will search the world, I will face its harms
I don't care how far, I can go the distance
'Till I find my hero's welcome waiting in your arms."

I made hand gestures like pointing at myself, then not caring. I was feeling this song, and I know everyone was too.

"I will search the world, I will face its harms
'Till I find my hero's welcome waiting in your arms."

A standing ovation, I bowed and a flower was thrown at my feet. . . A blue rose.
I looked up and he was gone. Time to look for him, but one last message.
"Remember Children, a hero's strength is measured by his heart, weather male or female. Goodnight London!" I went backstage to change. "Victoria."
"Oh, Lord Phantomhive." "You were amazing tonight," he said. "And that last song, wow you really inspired the children." "Thank you, um have you seen my dad?" "Last I saw your father he was the first one to leave," Sebastian said.

I didn't know what I was doing. I ran to his parlor in heels, he wasn't there.
When I got home he wasn't there at all. "Hmm . . . "

"Dad, what are you doing up here?" It was a chilly full moon night, his hat was on the floor. "Dad, Undertaker?"
"Do you know what my favorite lines from your song were, Victoria . . . 'But to look beyond the glory is the hardest part.' Because that is true, once you've gotten what or where you wanted, what now?" He turned around and there were tears on his cheeks. I couldn't speak, I just ran to him. He held me in a warm embrace that brought kisses on the head. "You've got a gift my little reaper. Now I as your manager and father think you should use it wisely." I moved back his hair.
"Get me a gig or a record deal first," I said.

💀🖤back home🖤💀

"No really what were your favorite lines?" I asked. "I told you, But to look beyond the glory . . . and the ones where you looked at me. "Though that road may wander, it will lead me to you." I was just singing the truth. "And a thousand years would be worth the wait," he said. "It might take a lifetime but somehow I'll see it through," I said. He kissed me goodnight, but before I went to bed, I put the blue rose in a thin jar with water and put it on one of my bedside tables. The curtain was opened a bit, and the moon shined on it giving it a sapphire glow.
"Hmmm, goodnight, Claudia."
