Epilogue

When Y/N came to they were greeted by the view of the sun rising over the mountains. Y/N went to sit up but found their limbs so sore they could barely move. They wondered why they hurt so bad until they remembered the events of the previous night. Before Y/N could panic, a familiar face entered the room.

"Good morning Y/N," Zhongli spoke with a smile while carrying a tray of food. "I've notified director Hu Tao that neither of us can come into work today, seeing as we were," he paused, clearing his throat. "Both overworked."

He sat down beside Y/N on the bed offering the food tray.

"Thank you," Y/N responded sleepily, much calmer knowing things were under control.

"I will take responsibility for your rest and care today, please let me know if there's anything I can do for your comfort."

"Could you.." Y/N started with some hesitation. "Could you eat breakfast with me?"

Zhongli's eyebrows raised and he let out a chuckle.

"Of course love."
