34 : IN THE MOMENT

"I am hungry", he whispered near her ears. He now want to play just like she did in morning. She talked with double meaning now even he is going to do same and want to see her reaction. If she talked about him then he will tease her regarding her thinking and if she talk about food then he will continue playing along with her

Shehnaaz turned towards him with a blush because she understood his double meaning. She know him very well that he is in mood to tease her now but she will not give him a chance

"It's your office. You can have whatever you want", Shehnaaz said and looked towards laptop to start working again which irritated him. Here he was standing near her to talk with her but she is again showing him attitude. Sidharth closed her laptop angrily and turned her chair towards him.

Chair rolled in front of Sidharth scaring Shehnaaz as Sidharth turned her chair suddenly without giving her time to realise her surroundings

"I will not", said Sidharth greeting his teeth. He should be the one showing attitude but here she is showing him attitude which is unbearable for him. He placed both of his hands on either side of chair and forced Shehnaaz to face him

"Why? Are you fine? Or do you want something?", Shehnaaz asked with concern. Sidharth smiled and was going to caress her cheeks when he remembered her words. Those hurt him even if they were unintentional. He can never take her advantage

"I am fine Shehnaaz nothing happened to me",he said with a smile. Shehnaaz nodded . Both stayed silent for a minute but Shehnaaz thought to break silence. Thier eyes spoke many feelings to eachother. Sidharth want her to say something why she is not hungry now? He want to start conversation but thought to wait for her for sometime

Shehnaaz holded his shoulders and asked him to bend in front of her. Sidharth bend down and Shehnaaz came forward to hug him

"Can't you send someone else there?", asked Shehnaaz with tears. Sidharth understood why she was working like that today. The reason was just to keep herself busy from his thoughts. Why he didn't realised it before? He thought and wiped her tears softly

"I can't but why are you crying hmm? We already stayed without eachother right so it should not be difficult", Sidharth said stating fact in front of Shehnaaz who rested her face in his arms. He rubbed her back softly but Shehnaaz broke hug

"Even those days were difficult for me. I can't suffer those days again", Shehnaaz said

"You have family now. We can talk through video call what else you want?", asked Sidharth raising his voice a little as he can't do anything and here she is trying hard to change his decision

"Nothing Let's order something", Shehnaaz said as she remembered he was hungry. She asked him to sit on his chair but he shooked his head thinking about upcoming meeting. Being a boss it's not good to waste time like he is doing but he desperately want to do spend time with her so he stayed with her

"Han toh tell me what do you want to eat ?", asked Sidharth

"Nothing Sidharth I will have lunch after sometime. You gave me responsibility nahh", replied Shehnaaz. Sidharth frowned listening her as he didn't asked her to skip meals to complete work.

"Yes I did but I didn't asked you to involve yourself in work", said Sidharth. Shehnaaz smiled seeing his care and ruffled his hairs softly. She started combing his hairs with her hands . Sidharth didn't stopped her because he felt peace in this moment. He want her to continue playing with his hairs but soon Shehnaaz took her hand back and hold his hands

"I am habitual now Sidharth I don't mind", Shehnaaz replied in soft voice. He regret leaving her alone now . They could have solved problems that time but he didn't. He love the way she is . He remembered when she was asking him to praise her but nowadays she is trying hard to remain serious. He don't know the reason but he want to find it
