Steady as Stone (Zhongli x Y/N)

Prologue

The sun rises over the grand mountains of Liyue, a beautiful visage from the viewpoint of the harbor. Y/N would typically enjoy such a sight, but on a day like this, it goes unnoticed.

Daoming Si, one of the heads of trade between Liyue and Inazuma, was found deceased. The well established man was well past his prime, slowly growing weaker by the day. In retrospect, it made sense. Still, his death shook the foundation of the trade industry. The Liyue Qinxing was scrambling to find an understudy to take his place, which was very unbecoming for the graceful and elegant nature of this nation.

Now, this would be a stressful situation for even a normal citizen of Liyue Harbour, but it just so happened that Y/N worked in the trade of the dead at the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor.
