CHAPTER 21 - Helpless

Aman :- "Vikram's behavior seemed to change. He started spending time with my family. He seemed happy. And I was really happy for him. Finally my friend was changing. "

Nishant :-" If he was changing than what went wrong ? "

Aman :-" My sister nisha's alliance  was fixed.
Everyone was happy.  But Vikram started acting weird. "

Vikram :- "Aman nisha shouldn't marry that guy !! ,

Aman :- "What's the problem dude ? She is happy with this alliance and even karan is a nice guy. Then what's wrong? "

Vikram :- "You don't understand aman !"

Aman :- "Vikram started getting  more and more angry.  I thought maybe vikram knew something about the guy so I double checked all the information about the karan and indeed he was a nice guy. There was nothing wrong. Even nisha was happy with this marriage. I was really confused now. I talked to vikram about it."

Vikram :- "oh it's nothing dude I was just worried for nisha."

Aman :- "Are  you sure ? "

Vikram :- "yes dude I'm sure don't worry now let's go we have lot of work to do !"

Aman :-" I believed him . I thought he is changing I was really happy. But boy I was wrong. One day before marriage we got a call from  karan's father  saying that the marriage is cancelled.
We were shocked. "

Karan's father:- "My son doesn't want to marry nisha . I'm sorry."

Mr joshi :- "But why ?! What's the reason ?  You can't cancel the marriage Think about my daughter's future !!! NO ONE WILL MARRY HER !!! "

Call gets disconnected.

Aman :- "My family was heartbroken.
All the relatives were gossiping. Everyone was blaming nisha. I was furious. I went to meet karan".

Karan's father :- "Aman beta you here ?"

Aman :- "I want to meet your son. "

Karan's father :-" But .. "

Aman :- "Please uncle I want to know the reason !"

Aman :- "Karan's whole face was beaten up. His left hand was fratured. He explained the whole situation to me."

Karan :- "Aman I'm sorry but I really can't marry nisha he will kill me if I did."

Aman :- "who will kill you ? "

Karan :- "I don't know his name but he was dangerous he had this psychotic look . He beat me up. He warned me that if I marry nisha he will kill me and family. I love nisha aman but I can't marry her for my family's sake. I'm sorry."

Karan started crying.

Aman :-" I don't know why but I  got this feeling that the psycho who threatened karan was vikram. I remembered him saying Nisha shouldn't marry that guy. I showed karan his photo."

Aman :-" Is this guy who threatened you ? "

Karan :- "Yes ! Who is he ? do you know him ? "

Aman :- "very well ! "

Aman was  now furious.

Aman :- "I'm sorry Karan for what happened to you. And I assure  you that nothing will happen to you and your family."

Aman :-" When I got home I got the shock of my life. "

Aman had tears in his eyes.

Aman :- "my sister jumped off from the  terrace. She tried to kill herself. She was immediately rushed to the hospital. she went into a coma. My sister is still in coma. My parents doesn't talk much. Vikram destroyed my family. When I confronted him he just .."

Aman :- "VIKRAM !!! YOU DESTROYED MY FAMILY !!!  MY SISTER IS IN COMA JUST BECAUSE OF YOU !! "

Vikram :- "It's not my fault ! It's all your sister's fault. She rejected me ! When I confessed my feelings to her .. she rejected me ! I had to do something so I talked to karan instead! And he actually listened. But your stupid sister attempted suicide ! "

Aman punched vikram. He fell to the ground. Aman started punching vikram.

Aman :- "HELPING YOU WAS MY BIGGEST MISTAKE !! MY PARENTS   TREATED YOU LIKE THEIR SON ! AND YOU .... ! "

Vikram's parents came with the security guards. Guards dragged aman outside.

Aman :- "I couldn't do anything I was helpless ."

Aman wiped his tears. Aditya kept a hand on aman's shoulder.

Aman :- "Then I decided to join Police force I want  to put vikram behind bars. And now  I think I  finally can because of you aditya."

Mr goenka :- "How you and Aman met aditya ? "

Aditya :- "I was suspicious of vikram. Something wasn't right I felt aaru was not happy so   I asked  My private investigator to give me all the information about vikram and his past.
And he told me about aman. And I went to meet him. He told me about his past and  I told him about the whole situation and he agreed to help us."

Aman :- "Because of you Aditya my sister is getting the best treatment and now the doctors are saying that she will be okay soon. Even my parents are  happy now. Thank you."

Aditya :- "if anyone else was in my place they would have done the same."

Aman :- "Aditya no one helped us but you did. You should give yourself some credit and now I will do everything I can to help you."
