~Aizawa pov~

"....damnit.."

There had to be another way right? Obviously if the commission wants anything to do with her they know she's strong but at the same time she can't exactly control it and I'm sure they won't go easy on her. *Sigh*

Maybe there's another option....

~Maria Pov~

I woke up and stretched and noticed my bandages came off "oops...huh? The burns? There gone" I heard a groan from beside me and aizawa sat up from the chair "morning zawa" "hmm mornin" I yawned and rubbed the tiredness from my eyes "do you know if I can leave here yet? I don't like it here anymore.." aizawa sat up and looked at a few papers

"Uh..yeah I need to finish some paper work first though" I looked out the window that had a clear view of the beach "....I wanna go there" he looked out the window and the beach with birds flying over the water "maybe someone will take you" I heard him go through the papers and remembered what he said to me the night before.

".....I know your a hero and all but..." I held my knees close to my chest and rested my head on them "I wonder if I'll see you again...after someone takes me in or I'm just living in a place full of homeless kids.." he didn't say anything but the thought of leaving felt wrong I didn't want him to go but I know I had to let go, who knows maybe I'll become a hero too and I'll see him again. He stood up and grabbed the papers "I'll have someone bring you some food and something to drink okay?" I nodded "I'll be back soon" and he left and I felt like going back to sleep

About thirty minutes later zashi comes by and sits a while..for some reason things suddenly got better with him, he brought coloring books and a stuffed lion "here so you don't get as lonely" "thank you zashi!" I hugged the lion tight "has shouta talked to you lately?" I shook my head "no he left awhile ago actually....I'm not sure if I'll be around much longer" he rubbed the top of my head "aw don't say that! I'm sure things will turn out alright" I smiled and we watched tv until he had to leave for work

I ended up coloring in the books zashi gave me "what do you think kimiko? Too much red?" The stuffed lion sat next to me "yeah you're right we need more blue over here and some green there"

A nurse brought me a few bottles of water and some apple juice every now and then, it was well past noon when aizawa came back "hey kid" "huh? Oh hi" "get your stuff we're going home" my head snapped in his direction "what?" "We're going home also I brought you some normal clothes I think I got the right size-" "what do you mean home? To your home?" He looked at me and smiled while taking a step towards me "it's our home now I adopted you I hope you don't mind but I thought it would be best for yo-" I ran up to him as fast as I could and hugged him tightly "THANK YOU! SO MUCH!" He kneeled down and returned my hug

I let go of him and took the bag from his hand and pushed him out "I need to change!!! I'll call you when I'm done!" "Okay okay stop pushing maria!" I close the door and open the bag that was now in my hands, inside was a pair of dark jeans, a slightly bigger grey T-shirt that said 'cats rule', a pack of socks and new shoes that were two sizes too big

"Oh okay, they don't all fit but nice OKAY COME IN!!" Aizawa comes in and I'm in the clothes he got me along with a bag or two full of stuff I had "do the shoes not fit?" I shook my head and looked at my feet that were now covered in the new socks "no but the these and the foot covers do!" I pointed to my pants and lifted a foot up, aizawa chuckled and took one of my bags that were in my hands

"ready to go?" "Yup! Let's go!" I skipped out the door and out to the lobby where aizawa made sure I was good to go then we left and it was actually the first time I had been outside in three days "woah...it's..COLD!! SO COLD" I tried to use my arms to cover myself "haha sorry kid, here take this" he took off the top he was wearing and gave it to me, revealing his T-shirt that was similar to mine only it had more cats. I smiled and slipped the top on over my shoulders when I did aizawa flipped something over my head that covered my face past my nose "heh looks like my hoodie is a little big on you huh kid?" I nod and giggle at his words, his hoodie reached past my knees and the sleeves reached way past my hands
