Waking up in an unfamiliar room I got up.
There was a big wall of glass that showed a beautiful view of outside. The sun was going down at the moment.
If there was one thing I knew I wasn't in Italy anymore
"Dad, Leo" I called out but got no answer.
Walking to the door I quietly opened it.
"Anna your awake" Bryce said the moment I pushed my head through the door
"Where am I?" I asked while looking around.
"New York city baby" he smiled and I laughed
"Where am I, Bryce?" I said and he got serious
"I told you, Anna we're in New York," he said
"Where's dad?" I asked
"He should be here soon" he said while looking at his watch and I looked down at my clothes.
"It was Lucy," he said and I nod.
"Whatever I'm going back,"
"You can't," he said and I looked up at him.
"I'm not staying here I'm going back right now"
"No your not" turning around dad was walking towards us.
"I'm going back and I need to see Leo. I need to see my husband" I said
"Leo doesn't want you back in Italy," he said while handing me some papers.
"Wait what? Why?" I asked as I read the papers
"Divorce papers really," I said before throwing the papers away.
"He's getting married to Fiona. Something he wanted to do a long time ago and now that Matt is dead you two have no reason to still be married and he now has his family back" he said
"Yes we have reason. Dad I'm in love him," I said and he took out his phone.

I thought all that time I spent hating him, what I really was doing was falling in love with him
"I'm sorry sweetheart but he'd have something else to say if he'd heard that"
"What?" I asked and he tapped the screen of his phone.
