"How's school, hija?" Tito Freddy handed me a plate of steak as we all eat together.
Kasama kong maghapunan ngayon si Tito at si Kuya Hawk. Mom has to attend a public ceremony earlier - 'politics' again - that's why she wasn't able to eat with us. Gabi na ngunit wala parin ito sa mansyon dahil sa trabaho.

"Siguro nga po tito..."
"Someday you will lead more, hija." Seryosong wika nito dahilan para maiangat ko ang ulo. "Ang dugong nananalaytay sa'yo ay kilala sa pagiging matagumpay." Titig na titig ito sa'kin. "You should always be prepared and ready for the future." I know what he means at alam ko na rin kung sa'n patungo ang usapang 'to.
"I'll try my best." Mapagkumbabang sagot ko.

"What is it hija?" Nakangiting tugon nito.
"I'm going to help Raven with his studies tommorow. Napaka-interesado nya na po kasing matuto ngayon. " I smiled sweetly hoping that it will lessen his negative impression about him.
