'NUMBER FIVE'

Y/n Hargreeves POV:

"How are you feeling y/n?", Luther asked,

"I'm fine", I replied as I felt more alive now, Luther nodded then turned towards Five,

"Former employer? what's this really about? and don't give me any of this 'it's none of your business' crap, all right?"

"well it's a long story", he sighed then began, "They turned me into the perfect instrument for the rehabilitation of the time continuum, or 'corrections' as they called them."

"wait a minute", I tried to interrupt but he went on,

"I wasn't the only one there are others like me, beings out of time, fractured, extracted from the lives they knew. I don't know how they got there. But I do know that none of them were as good as me", I scoffed at that statement,

"They didn't realize it but I was biding my time, trying to figure out the right equation so I could get back, If I could just go back I knew I could stop the apocalypse, save the world", he didn't realize but he was holding my hand right now and I did nothing to make him realize,

"So I broke my contract", he finished as he grasped my hand tightly, I could see the regret in his eyes for killing those people which showed me how opposite we were, I loved killing those people and he hated it all he tried to do was get back here and I who had the option still chose otherwise,

"so you were a hitman?", Luther asked as he handed five and me something to eat, which made him leave my hand and reach out,

"Yes"

"Uhh... I mean you had a code, right? you didn't just kill anybody", Luther asked still trying to wrap his head around it

"No code, We took out anyone who messed with the timeline", Five replied, still regret in his eyes,

'But they never took me out,' I thought to myself cause for as long as I can remember that man used to fix the timeline by killing someone who would get things back online maybe I was never the one who messed it up? who knows and then I realized why, as I was lost in my thoughts five and Luther had their conversation which I missed out on but some kind of metal clanking made me snap back,

We decided to head home and as soon as we reached I initiated, "Five we need to talk"

"sure let's go to my room", I nodded but on the way we crossed Klaus, he was in his room shirtless and itching like crazy, and when our gaze turned to the right I saw blood on the tub,

"oh boy", he groaned, I and five went in his room, as five knocked,

"Klaus are you okay?", I asked concerned, as I told you all he's my favourite,

"hey", he said in a soft voice his face looked like he just cried, as he came and hugged me, I gave five a look but hugged him back tightly,

"you okay?", five asked, as Klaus pulled back from our hug,

"Yeah, long night", he had gone back and was now wearing his shirt,

"More than one from the looks of it", five said stepping in next to me, and placed his hands in his pockets, iconic

"Yeah", Klaus exhaled

"Don't remember the dog tags", I stated as I crossed my arms and leaned on the wall

"Yeah, they belonged to a friend", he replied pulling his shirt over them

"How about that new tattoo", Five questioned,
