October 31 1981
James and Lily potter lived a nice life they had a nice house, great friends, and amazing children. They couldn't ask for more, but I guess all good things have to come to an end at some point. We'll get to all the sad stuff later for now let's start with before the incident, before James and Lily both lost everything.
James was playing with his beautiful daughter Jocelyn it was about after dinner time and the twins were gonna have to go to bed soon.
"James bring Jocelyn over here we have to put them to sleep" a gorgeous red head said looking over at her raven haired husband
"B-b-but Lily we can't go to sleep we're playing with bubbles!" James whined as he kept creating bubbles with his wand making his daughter burst out in squeals as she tried to pop them. Soon enough Harry stumbled over to his sister and father so he can also play with the bubbles giggling as he popped them.
"Well I'm sorry Darlings but it time for bed" she said as she grabbed Harry. Harry pouted as he was being taken away from the bubbles he tried to reach out and grab them .
"Sorry Harry love but it bed time you can play with the bubbles tomorrow" his mom said as she kissed his forehead
James huffed and pouted looking just like Harry did not to long ago but he complied picking up Jocelyn he started to walk to the stairs until he heard the gate outside open. He was confused turning to look at Lily who held the same expression as him. "I'll go see who it is don't worry love" James said as he handed Jocelyn to his wife.
"Dada no I pway more" Jocelyn whined as she tried to grab James again. It wasn't that she didn't love her mother or that she wasn't tired but she was definitely a daddies girl. "Don't worry baby dada will play with you tomorrow right now you have to go to night night with baby Harry" James gave his daughter a sad smile before he walked towards the door
"Ok I go with Hawwy bye bye dada" she said waving at him slightly he chuckled waving back before he looked out the window seeing cloaked figure he definitely knew that wasn't Padfoot or Moony. So he expected that person to be the one person he was dreading he would see..
He ran toward Lily, who was walking up the stairs at the time, she turned with a surprised look not knowing why he ran over here like that " Lily take the kids and go it's him, it's Voldemort" Lily gasped but shook her head " no I'm not leaving you here" she held the twins tighter as the twins looked between their parents not understanding what they were doing....were they supposed to be going to sleep or are they gonna play more?
"Please Lily run I'll hold him off for as long as I can" James pleaded as He kissed the twins head they smiled at him before he slowly backed away towards the door again Lily sighed tears welling up in her eyes yet she nodded and mouthed 'I love you' to James who mouthed it back.
Soon as enough Lily ran up the stairs into the twins Nursery she held them tight as she mumbled "be safe mama loves you both, dada loves you both be strong my loves we will see the light again" seeing their mother cry made the twins cry as well they didn't know what was going on but they can see that their parents were scared and that didn't help them at all.
They heard a thud from downstairs Lily cried a little more before the door was blasted up, Lily held on to the Twins as she screamed a little in fright before she put them in the crib turning fully to look at Voldemort.
"Step aside little girl" a snake like voice said to Lily holding their wand at her, but she stood her ground "no please have mercy please not Harry not Jocelyn" she pleaded "MOVE GIRL!" He yelled "I will spare you I just want your children" but Lily wasn't having any of that "No please take me leave my children alone I will not let you hurt them" she knew she wasn't gonna live, she didn't have her wand all she can do is stand there and fight for her children, fight for her husband as the famous words left the mouth of the dark wizard in front of her her last thoughts were...
One, Her Children sweet Harry and Jocelyn she didn't know what was gonna happen to them, she hoped they will be alright. Two, her Husband James, her love, she had so much planned for her family that was all taken away from them. Finally the last thing she thought about the person who she thought of as apart of her family someone she went to school with one of her husbands best friends betrayed them. THAT RAT!
"Avada Kedavra" Voldemort yelled a green light emitted from his wand hitting the red head making her scream in pain and fall dead on the floor. Her children screaming and crying watching what happened to her, he turned to them and smiled evilly at them. "don't worry little ones you'll be with your mudblood mother soon enough" he felt excited he was gonna kill these children like he did their parents and this whole prophecy won't happen and so he yelled the words again...
As the green light went to hit the children it bounced back "NO" Voldemort yelled as the spell hit him instead and he vanished.
The twins kept Crying and screaming wanting their parents "MAMA" Harry yelled while Jocelyn yelled "DADA" but they didn't come.
