Knockout: Commander, you're not saying you're willing to pull the plug on Shockwave's project Predacon?
Shockwave: Your conclusion is most logical
Eclipse: But what if that fire-breathing brute discovers our treachery?
Starscream: Why assume we will be the ones to perform the deed? After all if Predaking where to discover, say Autobots were responsible for wiping out his comrades. Our resident beast might, in turn, destroy our hated enemies for us. Or they him.
Megatron: Very well. (Y/N) and Nova will plant enegon at Shockwave's laboratory while he purges the lab
(Y/N): As you wish, my lord.
When they exited the cargo bay (Y/N) went to his room, which had a window overlooking the flight deck of the Nemesis. Then there was a knock on the door. When (Y/N) opened it he saw the figure if Predaking in the doorway.
Predaking: Commander, may I speak with you
(Y/N): Of course
Then (Y/N) sat down on his chair behind the desk.
Predaking: I just wanted to thank you
(Y/N): For what
Predaking: Your respect, your tolerance towards me
(Y/N): A word of advice, do not pride yourself on your evolution, as it will be your downfall
Predaking: I doubt that
Then he turned to the door
(Y/N): I'm warning you, I've seen even the greatest die of arrogance
And as Predaking left, (Y/N) smiled
(Y/N): Very well, maybe my actions will speak louder than words
When they arrived at the lab they all went inside and Nova found (Y/N) gazing at a clone vat
Nova: What is it
(Y/N): I have a feeling that we're approaching the end.
Nova: End of what?
(Y/N): End of the war
Nova: (Y/N) you've always been a bot of facts and figures, not feelings
(Y/N): That changed, when you entered my life, I too harbored feelings for you too
Nova blushed and then kissed (Y/N)
Shockwave: Commander
(Y/N) broke from Nova's embrace and stood behind Shockwave as they looked at the clones' status
Nova: Incoming!
Shockwave and (Y/N) opened fire on Ultra Magnus and Wheeljack. Nova did the same
Shockwave: Starscream, the Autobots have arrived, you did not inform us that your plan was already in motion!
Starscream: Only so the affair would appear less 'staged'
Shockwave: I have yet to purge my lab of sensitive materials!
Starscream: Then do not let me keep you Shockwave, over and out
Nova: That scrapheap!
(Y/N): We'll deal with him later. Soundwave, we need a groundbridge, at once!
Then Shockwave pressed the button the centre of his console which sent surges through to the cloning vats. Which awakened the Predacons, but the Decepticons already fled through the groundbridge before they could see the lab go up in flames. An hour later Predaking returned with hatred in his eyes and he looked at (Y/N) who smiled.
Megatron: Do not despair my Predaking, for I vow to you that the Autobots will pay dearly for the outrage against your kind. Shockwave report!
Shockwave: It is true my leige, project Predacon has been rendered null and void. At least I have been unable to recover any beast forms. However there is something you must behold, for yourself.
Megatron, (Y/N) and Starscream emerged through the Groundbridge to gaze upon the wreckage of the old lab, but was overcome by something else.
Starscream: What is this?
Shockwave: Pure cybertronian cybermatter. Not unlike that once existed upon our primeval homeworld.
Megatron: And that which engendered my citadel here on earth. The result ofvthe explosion?
Shockwave: Indeed, yet the cybernuclaic acid alone could not account for these, cyberforms. All possible logic points to te presence of one unexpected variable: synthetic energon
