If someone told me on my birthday that a month later, I would be living my one month anniversary of being married to a total stranger the night we met only because it was an accidental drunken mistake, I would have laughed and probably punched you in the face.
But I woke up to an empty bed which is something I'm not used to doing after a month. As I sit up and run my fingers through my hair, getting rid of any small tangles I may have. Plus it helps wake me up for some reason.
A moment later, Elijah walks in with fucking huge bouquet of roses., catching me by surprise. I can't help but drop my strands of hair and drop my mouth open. "Oh, good, you're awake!"
"Elijah-"
"You're probably wondering how many roses is this but first-" I wasn't but now that he's mentioned it, I am wondering how many roses are in there. "I need to out this down because it's fucking heavy." He slowly sets the bouquet of roses on the edge of the bed and heads towards the bedroom door.
