Y/n: father? What are you doing here?
Mr. Kwon: ahh y/n dear, it's nice to meet you. Hoshi, you did a good thing bringing your future bride here. You both should spend sometime together.

I bow down and greeted Mr. Kwon with a smile but then realisation hit me hard like a truck. What the- me? Future bride? What? I looked at father shocked. He just looked down guilty, now ik why he was acting that way the other day he came at the house

Dad: sir, can I have some talk with my daughter for a while?
Mr. Kwon: sure Me. Lim

Father took me to Mr. Kwon's office.

Y/n: what all is going on?! No way I am gonna marry that nerd and that too at this age!

Author: Hoshi was listening to the conversation y/n and her father were having and his heart ached when he listened what y/n said and moved to his father

Hoshi: father.. I think we should cancel the marriage
Mr. Kwon: there is no way back son. For your mom.

Y/n's POV
Y/n:Explain why I should marry that person! I don't owe you anything, giving birth to me isn't something that I should owe you, it wasn't in my hand that I was born! Why didn't you ask me? Am I just a toy to you? I said explain!

I just saw my father crying, soon Mr. Kwon entered, he was totally surprised seeing the scene in front of his eyes.

Mr. Kwon: y/n.. dear I'll explain everything to you
Y/n: please.
Mr. Kwon: my wife is having brain cancer.. she has only 6 months to live

I could see Hoshi's father and hoshi both tearing up. So? What am I supposed to do with that if his mother has cancer? Why me?

Mr. Kwon: she had a dream where you married our son, I know this dosent seem true but it is and one day your father's wallet fell down when we were leaving for work and Hoshi's mother saw the wallet which was opened while falling and she saw you.. it's her last wish to see you two get married. Please dear, before she breath the last time, she want to see you two in the church exchanging ring fingers

My heart felt numb.. my brain can't take anything. I just felt guilty for shouting at my dad, he had to listen to his senior, if not he will be kicked out and he won't be able to handle my expenses, he is doing it for me. Hoshi's family seems to be a happy family and Hoshi is a well mannered man, my father must have known it, I am sure if he was spoilt, father would willingly leave the job.

Y/n: I agree with this marriage, only for your wife Mr. Kwon. But I have one condition
Mr. Kwon: go on dear
Y/n: you should give my father a higher post with proper salary that he deserves

My father broke down seeing me. Father.. it's my time to pay you back, I owe you alot, I lied, whatever you have done for me, I owe you and this is the chance.
Mr. Kwon gave me a sweet smile

Mr. Kwon: we soon will be a family and it won't be appropriate for your father to work for me, will it? I will give one of my branch to Mr. Lim as a wedding gift. I am sure your father will work hard and make me proud.. and one more thing, if you think you can't adjust with hoshi, you can divorce him after 8 months of your marriage. I just want his mother to be happy and more months for you both to adjust with eachother.
There won't be any changes in your studies, you may carry on with your studies and work hard till your fullest
Y/n: thank you Mr. Kwon, can we start doing our school work? We have to prepare our project
Mr. Kwon: sure, Mr. Lim? Let's head to the office

I and hoshi started walking towards his room

Y/n: you knew about everything, didn't you?

I spoke in anger. He just looked down sad

Hoshi: I am sorry y/n but I didn't have any guts
Y/n: let's just talk about it after annual day, I have to keep the script in my head plus this project. Don't disturb me, later we will have a talk
