13 - Pain & more Pain

Start from the beginning

"I am a Don, Tesoro and if you want to leave, you respect me as such. If not, then I'll let these men carry on" He said, gesturing to the men around her. "Your bluffing" Her voice shook, with certainty.
"Are you willing to risk that?" He questioned and she looked around and looked down.
"Luciano, please" She sniffled and he looked up at the man.

"slegala". (Untie her) He said.

Her hands felt much better, but when Luciano grabbed her hand, she hissed and he tilted his head, seeing the bruise it left on her wrist. He didn't say anything, he just grabbed her hand gently this time. Adriano threw a duffel bag at the men and turned, following them, feeling guilty. Luciano took his coat off, putting it over her and she took it off, handing it back to him as she got in the car. She didn't want anything from him.

She looked out the window, not speaking a word. Luciano wanted to feel guilty, he wanted to comfort her, but then again it would just be submitting. Not really disciplining her. He stared at her as more tears fell down her face and she didn't make a move to wipe them. She wouldn't have thought he would stoop that low to scare her, to punish her. And without care. It just made her think about her feelings for him.
How he didn't deserve what she felt for him.

Luciano opened the door for her, holding his hand out and she ignored his hand, walking past him and he groaned, closing the door. "I told you so" Adriano said, shaking his head and Luciano huffed, walking into the jet.
Luciano noticed Teresa didn't sit in the front section, but in the back private section where there was a couch like bed and a Tv. There was a door that separated that section from the rest of the jet, the same section she slept in the day he first flew her to Italy.
He walked in, sliding the door behind him seeing she was sitting on the couch, staring out the window.

She felt him there, she heard him come in, but that didn't mean she had to acknowledge it. "Tesoro" He called out to her. She never even knew what that meant, except for it being treasure in Spanish, but Italian and Spanish could have multiple meanings and she was sure treasure wasn't it. At first she thought he were calling her name but it sounded different, but she had realized it was an entire different word. He groaned, not liking being ignored, but he understood why. However, didn't mean he had to accept it.

Instead of being okay with it, he gripped her jaw, turning her to face him and she started breathing heavily, her chest heaving as she looked away from him with an attitude.
"You don't care do you? Not for me, not for what you did, how I felt." She spoke and he let go of her face.
"You could not go unpunished Tesoro" She scoffed, rolling her eyes.

The way he says it, like it's all business.
"So you have men kidnap me, hold chloroform to my nose and pull a trigger making me think I was about to die, just to punish me?!" She yelled, standing up. Now she was worked up. He looked up at her, still sitting and calm as he said,

"Yes" She felt jealous of just how calm he could remain. She couldn't stay calm.
"You know I fucking screamed for you?"

He raised his eyebrow, questioning her.
"I thought it was real. When I was grabbed, I screamed for you. The first person I screamed for and yet you were the one that caused my screaming" He stood up, not being able to feel guilty for what he's done, only attempt to help her understand or see from his point of view.

"I have done far worse than others. You are alive Tesoro. Frightened, but alive"
"And that makes it better?" She smacked her lips and pushed him, but he grabbed her hand, stopping her.
"I have to maintain order Tesoro. I couldn't have let you off. It would have made me seem weak." He dropped her hand. "I don't expect you to understand, but you went through less than many. I only wanted to make sure you were okay"
