Nikitha cleared her throat and asked "hmm... how do I look Veera?"
Veera looked at her from top to bottom and said "You look like a Monkey."
"You.....I'm gonna kill you now." Nikitha said while frowning playfully.
Pallavi came and called us to start the ceremony.
After a while we all were sitting together and talking about something. I was rocking the baby. Veera came and sat next to me.
"Manisha....." Veera started to speak.
"Shh...... " I said and shook my head and gestured to him not to speak.
He nodded his head.
Pallavi came and took the baby from me.
"Can I have your phone number?" He asked me.
I coughed because of his sudden question.
Why is he doing this? My God. Everything is damn straight.
He gave me a glass of water.
"Can we leave?" Nikitha came towards us and asked me.
I nodded my head.
I stood up from the couch and went with her.
2 days later I received a call from an unknown number.
"Hello, who's this?" I asked.
"This is Veera." The person on the line said.
I was shocked.
What? How did he get my number?
"Don't think too much... Nikitha shared your number." He said.
He guessed my thoughts.
"Hmm.." I just hummed as a reply.
"Are you free now?" He asked me.
"Yes." I said.
"I'll be there within 10 minutes . You're going to have coffee with me." He said.
"What?" I asked shockingly.
No reply... so I checked my phone screen. He hung up on my call.
What is he up to?
After 10 mins someone knocked on my cabin and I told them to come in.
It was Veera.
"Are you ready, shall we leave?" He asked me.
"Are you kidding me?" I asked him.
"Absolutely not." He said and sat in front of me.
"What do you want now?" I asked him while frowning
"Have coffee with me. I won't bother you any more." He said and raised his hands in surrender.
I thought for a minute and said "yes."
We went to a nearby coffee shop.
"Actually I am sorry for everything. For the pub incident and also in the hospital. I shouldn't have behaved like that. You're correct, we should not judge anyone." He said in an apologising tone.
I was simply looking at him.
He continued, " I am really sorry for everything, please forgive me."
I don't know what to say...
"It's ok I didn't mind that issue." I said.
"Really." He asked me.
