"yours is probably in one of my drawers." she smiled lightly, pointing to where his clothes probably still were at "we should probably go before reggie tells everyone we're making out here. i know he'd for sure do that."

"what? why are you afraid of them thinking we're making out here?" vinnie raised one of his eyebrows looking down at his ex "a few months ago we'd have sex righ-"

"alright, enough of that." sofia blushed and after checking herself in the mirror, she left her closet, pulling him by the hand to follow her "i just don't think our parents should expect us to get back together."

"i know, sofi. but, they already think that just because we're talking again, reggie saying something wouldn't change anything." the boy replied, following her "what matters is that we know we're just friends."

sofia had a right to hate the way vinnie used the words "just friends" to describe them, or at least, that's what she thought. no matter what, she hated it. she just didn't know why - or, she pretended she didn't.

she tried to understand her thoughts as she laid in bed, being thankful all the guests had left already, incluiding the hacker family. it was just overwhelming. seeing the tiktok boy again after a while messed up with her hidden feelings for him and, it was not so nice.

it was obvious there was something there. maybe it was the fact that she didn't hook up with anyone in a while now, so she was  just feeling needy and her mind saw her ex boyfriend as an option. or, maybe she just still liked vinnie... it was hard to know for sure (she knew it was the second option, of course, but she didn't want to admit it).

although she was spending part of her time just to think about vinnie, it was obvious what had to be done. she HAD to get over him, as there was absolute zero chance they'd have an online relationship. why bother liking him?
