The good times in life, are what make living worth it.
Maybe you are in a time of sadness, but good times will always come.
And you don't always realize that you are in the good times.
It is only once you've lived them, that you understand.
Times when you can't do anything, but smile.
Or it feels as if you will explode with joy.
Or you can't breath because of laughing so hard.
I smile as I write and remember my good times that have now turned to good memories.
And all though all good things end, I'm glad I lived them.
I'm thankful I got to experience joy.
Even for just a minute.
I remember laughing at the lunch table with my best friend until everyone was staring at us, but we didn't care.
I remember laying on the roof with my cousin, watching the stars and fireflies as we talked about how grateful we are to have each other.
I remember having long talks about every topic in the world with my grandma.
And then I miss them.
I miss the good memories.
I miss them so much it makes me want to cry.
But I wouldn't have it any other way.
Now I look forward to making new good memories.
I can't wait to move in with my best friend.
I can't wait to kiss my first love.
I can't wait to get my first job.
So I will keep waiting.
And I will continue living the life I was given, and I could not be more grateful.

Poetrythis is a poetry kind of story and it's just a bunch of chapters each about a new thing. It's more of a peek inside my mind than a book, but nonetheless still just as powerful.
