Chapter 46

"That's more like it." Suna says while standing up and directing you to his car. His hand remains latched with your hand as he opens the door for you.

"We're so funny."

"I know."

Time: 12:01 PM

"Suna, we've been driving for almost an hour, where are we going?" You say while looking out the window.

The scenery was beginning to change and you began to notice that the more he drove there appeared to be less houses. It had begun to snow lightly, and you watched attentively as the snow hit the glass of the car window and fell down as the windshield wiped it away.

"It's a surprise." Is all he says while sending you a cheeky grin which makes you roll your eyes playfully.

"Can you at least give me any hints?"

"All I can say is that we'll be staying there for the night, and we still have another hour left."

"Are we going to a cabin?"

"No."

"Well I give up."

Suna laughs lightly before turning his attention back to the road.

Considering the fact that there was still an hour left until you would both arrive at the unknown destination, you took it upon yourself to connect your phone to the radio.You spent a bit of time scrolling through the numerous songs until a specific song caught your eye.

You had a small smile on your face as the intro to Die for you by The Weekend played through the speakers.

Suna starts humming and prepares himself for the chorus that's about to begin. You do the same and the two of you burst out singing the lyrics that were all too familiar with you both.

"Even though we're going through it and it makes you feel alone, Just know that I would die for you. Baby, I would die for you, yeah. The distance and the time between us, It'll never change my mind, 'cause baby I would die for you. Baby, I would die for you, yeah!"

The song progresses as the both of you continue to sing the lyrics until the outro begins to quiet; leaving the car in a comforting silence as the song ends.

"Man, I love that song." Suna says with a slight pant as he tries to catch his breath from singing.

"Same." You say with a smile as you glance over at him. Pure love radiates off the both of you as the car continues driving. Admiration is shown in your eyes while you look at Suna.

Getting lost in his features, you couldn't imagine never not loving him. He was for sure someone you always wanted to keep close to you because of how much you've grown to love the green eyed boy and from how much he's helped you over these past few years.

'Man, I really do love this guy.'

Time: 1:13 PM

"You're such a liar." You say with a laugh as you step out from the car. The slight crunch of the ice below your feet adds to the sounds of nature as a short breeze wisps against your face.

Looking in front of you. Your eyes gaze upon the snowy trees of the forest. The breeze in the air knocked some snow from the branches and added it to the already snowy patches of the forest floor.
