At the time, Simon didn't take him too seriously, but sitting here now, wiping the pink lipstick that was lingering on his lips, he realised how serious he was.

Nadine dragged her suitcase behind her. The wheels squeaking as she approached her brother Ethan's front door.
Dropping the handle, she sighed in relief as well as exhaustion, due to her suitcase being heavy.
She placed 3 firm knocks on the front door, pulling out her phone and checking for any unread messages. She stood waiting for a few moments, before the door flung open.
"Little sistaaaaaa!!"
He exclaimed, wrapping his arms around his younger sibling and spinning her around.
"It's been fucking yonks"
He sighed placing her back on her feet.
"It's only been a few months"
She laughed, her older brother rolling his eyes and giving her one more hug before bringing her into the house.
"So how've you been Naid?"
She pulled the chair back, placing herself at the kitchen island.
"I'm good, just been working my arse off"
She giggled, pulling her phone out and pulling up the photos that contained her passion.
"I baked these on Monday, and spent Tuesday and Wednesday decorating them"
Ethan took the phone out of her hands, swiping through the very impressive array of cakes.
