Hybrid 4

-"Amelia, note what you see. That will be your first job here. You will be able to hear them and they won't" you noticed the quick glance the leader gave to the mirror and towards the speaker. "Injuries. Links. Anything" Jackson said and left you dumbfounded. You just came back from school, so you got paper and pens. Still it was strange. You looked towards the hybrids and began your weird habit of speaking to yourself.

-"I'm damned. I got assigned to this shelter. I could be under a blanket with hot chocolate" you whined to yourself and you sat on a table. "I don't even know their names" You looked at each of them "Can't believe there is a carnivorous black bunny there..." you were amazed. In fact, you were always interested in hybrids but never got close to them or talked to them.

When you said that, you could see the said bunny squinting his eyes at the leader.

-"Let's do this quickly, boys" you said "I need you to move around a bit, come on" you said to yourself "I already have a lot, still" you said looking at each of them carefully "That ear..." your voice trailed off in worry.

-"Jungkook" one of the boys said "How is your ear?" the Jungkook was the bunny.

-"I'm entirely fine, Hyung" the latter said

-"Whoa... A blatant lie." You commented taking notes and a flinch was seen by another boy.

-"I'm not lying" the bunny said and you widened your eyes.

-"Girl" you completely froze at the wolf speaking to you through the interphone. "Speak"

-"..." you kept quiet and continued taking notes. Jackson lied. You took a lot of notes and you could see the voice hybrid getting impatient.

-"You hear me?" you didn't answer and finished taking notes. The doors was locked. You sighed and turned to the hybrids. "As usual, humans have no respect" he seethed and you smiled at that. You were often told that.

-"Because a limping grey wolf hybrid had all the respect of the world?" the words escaped your mouth. You saw the hybrid squinting his eyes at the mirror.

-"What?" he asked, but his tone was wary and all the other hybrids were looking at him.

-"Stabbing wound, right leg...near the knee. It's deep and infected" you said and bit your lips right away.

-"Hyung?" another asked

-"It's nothing. It's not true." The hybrid defended

-"Then walk. Prove me wrong." You felt so challenged today and the hybrid began to walk. Right away, his right leg seemed heavier than the other and a quick pained look made the other hybrids scurry next to him and make him sit up on a bed. You didn't say a thing, the door was still locked.

-"Disgusting human" the black panther spat at the mirror

-"Calm your overprotective instincts, Mister Black panther. It's your decision, if you want your leader to lose his right leg or not. And your other friend to have an amputated ear. And maybe the lion one, to get his foot amputated as well... And you hiding a gunshot wound on your left hips isn't the smartest idea either." You haven't talked so much in month. The hybrids widened their eyes to each other and to the mirror. "You're protecting no one like this. You'll just die all together" and a growl irrupted.

You sighed and didn't say anything anymore. You had taken note, a lot.

-"You know how to treat people." It was more like an affirmation from the white tiger hybrid.

-"Light wounds only. Your pack leader's leg needs to be handled by a real doctor, same with the lion's arm and the gunshot wound...The twisted left ankle of your best friend, I could..." you trailed off and then cut yourself off.
