1. Cries Inside
All alone, counting stars;
Seeing stars that are so far.
Thinking what mistake I made,
That ripped apart my entire fate.
I thought that I was of no worth,
And now I know that was the truth.
My silent screams are of no use;
They never stop this hate and abuse.
Loving turned out to be so hard,
It was a dart that pierced my heart.
Now all I see is grief and despair,
Forcing me to cry in vain.
They say you reap what you sow,
And now I wonder where I went wrong.
Now these beliefs shall give me home,
And they'll show me a ray of hope.
I learnt how to fake a smile,
Instead of showing them how I cried.
2. Closed Doors
Each door seems closed;
screams high and low.
Grief-struck and lost;
the heart is frost.
Trapped in thoughts,
that mourn a lot.
Worse than hell,
are sorrows felt.
The unbearable pain;
the troubling rain,
fill the inside with despair.
The hopeless cries;
the deceits, the lies,
are straining my mind.
The gloom fills up the veins,
burning the heart in flames.
Is this world that inhumane?
3. The Victim
Their cruel laughs echoing inside,
heavily are weakening the soul.
The hurtful things they do isn't right,
They filled the heart with several holes.
They cut her wings, threw them away,
They let her weep and moan in pain.
Her shrieks unheard, day by day.
She sat alone, wailing in vain.
The scars they carved,
The blood that bled,
The tears that shed,
Filled her with dread.
She lost her smile,
They made her hostile.
She lost her dreams,
She howled and screamed.
Her life broke into fragments,
Because of all the harassments,
She felt to be eternally cursed,
As each day made the world even worse.
