The Lightning Swordsman (Remastered Version)

Preparing

He transfers the money to the NPC and we make our way to the girls.

"Are you gonna put it on," I ask him

"Uhhhh, I'm not sure, I don't want them to be shocked when they see me," he says blushing

"Bruh, they won't know the difference either way," I tell him

"Fine, whatever," he says as he equips his new armour.

"There you go! Finally, that badass sword fits your armour, the armour you had before was pussy shit," I say smirking

"Like you can talk Mr. Pads," He counters referring to my light armour

"I'll be closer to a woman than you ever will be," I counter his counter

"Fuck," he says in defeat

I just grin

We finally are able to track down the girls. Harry was mostly with Fuji and than Jam and Liz did their own thing.

"We're back," I announce

"Wow, Punisher, your sword fits your armour so much better, the armour before was pussy shit," Liz says

Punisher dies standing up as Liz and I wink at each other

"Don't listen to them, I think your old and new armour looked badass?" Jam says while rubbing his back.

"Nice to know at least one person likes me," he says with a tear in his eye

Liz and I giggle

"Are you guys done?" I ask the girls

"Not even close," they all say at the same time

" Ok," I respond as I don't want to bring the wraith of girls upon me

Punisher went with Jam to another part of the store and Harry and Fuji were still in their little world

"I guess it's just you and me again, eh," I say to Liz

"Must be love" She responds with a smirk

"Must be" I tell her

"You are Romeo, and I, Juliet. We are destined to be together" Liz starts as she clings to me

"My dear, dear Juliet, I'm sorry we can't be together because of our families, but I swear I'll make it happen!" I yell out heroically.

Liz breaks down giggling

"Ok, let's find you some armour," I say getting us back on track

"Yeah, it just really sucks I really like my current armour, the only downside is that its low level on this floor." She says

"I'll find you something, just keep looking. I'm sure you not as bad as Punisher, literally had to track down armour that was about to be thrown out for him," I say

"Yea, it's probably hard to find armour he wants" She responds

We continue looking until she finds a white padded armour set that's very similar to her current set

"A keeper?" I ask her

"Yeah, you must bring good luck," she says

"I'm sure Max would disagree," I say

Liz laughs a bit and asks, "would he?"

"I'm sure he would," I tell her. Max's most unfortunate moments happen when I'm around.

We go up to the NPC and pay for the armour, after we bought it we can see the others going up to pay for their own.

"I guess, we all are done?" Harry asks

"Indeed, on to a weapon shop now?" I ask

"Yep" Jam agrees

We head toward a weapon shop and head our different ways to our preferred weapon type, Punisher followed me but he went to the huge Longsword as I went to the normal-sized ones. Even though I had just gotten a new sword a couple of months ago...it wouldn't hurt me to get another

I scan across all the swords until one catches my eye, it's laid sheathed on the counter. The sheath reminded me greatly of Liz from its Light blue hue. I picked it up and check the info on it. The sword's name was Flasta it's a Longsword with an affinity for speed. A Longsword with the speed affinity is very rare, I look at the price to see its 1 Million col. That's quite a bit, but I'm somehow attracted to this sword.

I guess my gear is worth 2 million col including my armour and sword

I pay for it at the counter as the others came to also pay.

After we meet back up with Qweep and Looky we went shopping for potions. We didn't get back to camp until it was dark out and ready to bed.

Running around in town really took it out of everyone so we decided to hit the hay.

We all slept well, knowing if things went south it could be our last night of peace
