I would just like to start this book off by saying I, in no way, support the toxic, violent, abusive relationships Melanie has.
I am not writing this to romanticize or seem accepting of her relationship.
I am simply writing it as my own way of dealing with my past.
I will do my best to put trigger warnings and disclaimers at the beginning of the chapter and feel free to skip any parts that make you uncomfortable.
