Chapter 43

"Alright, I'll be your guy's piercer today so don't be scared." Ginjima says. "Now...who wants to go first." The boy says while clasping his hands and rubbing them together.

"I think 'Tsunu should go first. You know, because it's his birthday and he's the oldest." Osamu says while pushing his brother in front of everyone.

"Fine by me." Atsumu says with a scoff while walking behind Ginjima. The blonde takes a seat at the black chair and lays down while Ginjima prepares the station with sterile supplies. He grabs a tooth pick and dips it in black ink before pressing it on his nose and the other end on his ear.

"Now remember to take a deep breath. Everything will go by quickly." Ginjima says while snapping on a pair of sterile gloves and grabbing a needle from the tray.

"Yuiii hold my hand please." The blonde whines out while extending out his hand towards the ravenette.

"Fine but you better do the same for me." She says while grabbing his hand making him close his eyes while smiling.

"Okay we're done."

"What?"

"I did all your piercings." The grey haired boy says while throwing away everything and setting up more supplies for the next person.

"Well shit that didn't even hurt." He chuckles while getting off and pushing Osamu onto the chair.

"Good luck to you Samu." Atsumu says with a smug look on his face.

Osamu only rolls his eyes as he attempts to calm down his nerves. He ends up starting a conversation with Hina and it ends up making him forget where he is because Ginjima finishes his piercing within a second.

Hina follows after Osamu and she seems extremely relaxed as Ginjima pierces her ear. She winces from the pain but overall is satisfied with the result.

Yui goes after and she's pretty calm despite squeezing the living daylights out of Atsumus hand. Overall she handles it well, but then there's people like Suna who are a little more nervous than others.

"(Y/N) please hold my hands, I'm literally going to freak out." Suna says while squeezing his eyes shut as he extends his hands out.

"You don't have to be scared Suna, it'll only last a few seconds." You say while grabbing his hands and giving him a reassuring squeeze.

"Ginjima give me a countdown."

"Alright but I'll only count to three." He says while putting the needle closer to his nose.

"Okay."

"3."

"2."

"Fuck-"

"1."

As soon as Ginjima counts to 1, the needle goes straight through Suna's nostril.

"Oh fuck that hurt." He groans out while squeezing your hands tighter.

"At least you're done." You say while patting his shoulder.

Suna blinks a couple times before looking at his reflection within a nearby mirror.

"I look hot." He says while smirking to himself which makes you playfully roll your eyes.

"Now for our final client." Ginjima says while letting a sigh of relief escape his lips making all of you laugh.

"Do you want me to hold your hand?" Suna asks while looking down at you.

"No it's okay."

"C'mon it might hurt."

"I'm quite good with my pain tolerance."

"I think Suna just wants an excuse to hold your hand." Hina says with a light laugh while sending a teasing look at the green eyed boy; who in return sends her a glare.

You laugh before grabbing Suna's hand and feeling a slight pinch on your ear followed by another pinch.

"That wasn't so bad." You say while getting up and stretching your arms.

"I'm convinced you can't feel physical pain." Suna says.

"I think I have a high pain tolerance." You say while shrugging your shoulders. "But anyways how much do I owe you?" You say to Ginjima.

"My parents said it's all free since it's the twins birthday so everything's paid for."

"I at least have to leave a tip."

"No no it's fine, just go enjoy yourselves and your new piercings."

You nod your head as everyone starts walking out the shop doors but not without saying their thank you's and goodbyes.

Ginjima waves a goodbye before heading into the back room of the shop.

Once you see him leave, you quickly run over to the counter and grab a piece of paper writing a thank you and leaving a $100 bill on the counter.

Suna waits for you by the door as you quickly run out the shop, a satisfied smile lingering on your face all the way to the car.

Time: 4:27 PM

"Happppyyyy Birthdayyyyyyy Toooooooo Yooouuuu!" You all sing in unison while clapping your hands together.

"Hurry up and blow out the candles already. I want a slice." Suna says while waving his hands.

"Fuck you." Atsumu and Osamu say while clapping their hands over the candles, making them turn off.

Osamu does the honors of cutting seven slices of cake and setting them on red paper plates. Hina passes a slice to everyone while saving the seventh slice for Ginjima.

While a melodious tune plays in the distant background, you all laugh and smile around the table. The peaceful moment permanently engraved within your mind as you continue smiling. You never wanted to forget such a simple moment like this. It just goes to show just  how much the people around the table truly mean to you.

Moments like this are ones that last for eternity within the clouded abyss of your memories.

-If you can't tell, (Y/N) almost always calls Osamu first on accident before calling Atsumu because she still has their profile pictures switched.

-Hina was the first to tell Osamu happy birthday

-(Y/N) absolutely hates spiders and refuses to go near one so she waits for someone to take care of it.

-When I got my septum pierced it did not feel like a pinch. That bitch hurt, it had me tearing up 😪.

-Lol is it weird I wrote this chapter at like 1am? Probably.

-Anyways bonus fact: Mai never ended up wishing Osamu a happy birthday.
