Chapter 1 - The New Northwest Mystery

Hi,you can call me Dipper Pines.
I'm a 12 year old boy with with a twin sister called Mabel Pines.

Why do I love mysteries? I don't know I just love to solve them.

And this one I'm facing right now is really confusing.

What is it you ask? Well this mystery is about why I am I falling for the richest and most popular girl in town,her name Pacifica Northwest.

Today was a sunny day of summer birds tweeting,Mabel being Mabel,Grunkle Stan making money out of the tourist,Wendy at the cashier kind off and Soos uhh I don't know what he's doing.

But it was a normal day simply ordinary or so I thought.

"Mabel will you stop,I'm thinking"Dipper said

"Aww come on Dipper you've been thinking all week,let me DJ with Waddles" She presses a key on the piano that makes a "Yeah" sound Waddles no don't chew on your sweater"Mabel said

"Ahh I can't stop thinking about her" he whispered

"About who?"Mabel asked

"Ahh no one I was thinking about the journal"Dipper answered nervous

"Dipper we are twins do you think I don't know what's happening?"Mabel gestured her hands
"Ahh no"Dipper responded
"Dipper has a crush!"Mabel yelled
"Mabel!!!"Dipper shouted
"I knew it you do have a crush but wait on who?"Mabel doubted
"No one Mabel would you stop"Dipper said
"Nope not until I figure out who she is"Mabel said and she went running with Waddles out the door

Dipper noticed Mabel outside with Soos and Wendy.
"Maybe I should go outside I can't be here all day that would be boring"Dipper said going outside
"Dipper!"Mabel exclaimed
"Sup bro"Soos said
"Hey Dip"Wendy said
"Hi guys"Dipper said
"Dude you look different did you get a haircut or something?"Wendy asked
"Nope same old me"Dipper answered
"More like new me!"Mabel whispered
"Mabel!"Dipper yelled
"Dude you have crush on someone?"Soos asked
"Yea dude cause you look different"Wendy said
"No I do not have a crush"Dipper said mad
"Oh don't worry brother we will make her like you or something"Mabel said
"Mabel if I had a crush I wouldn't ask for your help because you allways ruin things"Dipper said
"Nah maybe it's because of you not me because everybody knows I'm a match maker!"Mabel exclaimed
"Ya dude it's ok to have a crush don't get crazy about everybody knowing it"Wendy said
"I'm not crazy about it,look for now I'm just thinking of the mysteries in this town"Dipper said
"Dude give it a rest you'll find out sooner or later the answers but now you really need a girlfriend"Wendy said
"Ya like mine"Soos said
"Anyways let's get to the interesting details,first who is she?"Mabel asked
"No one Mabel"Dipper answered
"Dipper do you think I was born yesterday?,before you answer that no i was not,Dipper why are you soo shy it's just a normal crush"Mabel said
"No Mabel you don't get it,it's not a normal crush it's something else I don't know what it is but this doesn't mean I'm shy"Dipper said
"Your shy"Wendy said texting
"Ya dude you need to become the ladies man"Soos said
"And how do I do that?"Dipper asked
"In Mabel's dating school!"Mabel exclaimed
"And I'm finally starting to regret this"Dipper said
"Dude do you wanna be alone your whole life or do you wanna have a family?"Wendy asked
"Guys it's just it's hard for me to flirt"Dipper said
"Don't worry brother we knew that centuries ago"Mabel said
"Mabel please stop"Dipper said
"Never mind that lets get started!"Mabel exclaimed and she took Dipper and Soos to their room upstairs.
"Welcome to Mabel's Dating School when we never give up until we've made a match!"Mabel exclaimed
"This is gonna be a long day"Dipper said
"Indeed my friend and maybe a long time until you learn"Soos said
"Ha Soos you crack me up now let's get started with a simple question, what's the first thing your supposed to say to a lady?"Mabel asked
"Umm hello?"Dipper answered
"No!"Mabel yelled and hitted

"Ohhh in your face"Soos said and hi fived Mabel
"Let's get moving please"Dipper said
"Whoa,whoa Dipper slow your horses"Mabel said
"Ya dude it almost seems like you have a bad case of the intensity crush"Soos said
"Ya Dipper this is just a normal crush right,Dipper?"Mabel asked when she noticed Dipper wasn't in a good mood
"Mabel I told you I don't know if this is just a crush and I still don't know if you will get along with a Northwest."Dipper whispered
"Wait what a Northwest you have a crush on Pacifica Northwest!?!?"Mabel said shocked
"Whoa dude that's quite a shocker"Soos said
"But Dipper she doesn't like me and a week ago you said she was the worst person ever"Mabel said
"I know what I said I just don't like to talk about it"Dipper said
"But Dipper you can't have a crush on her!"Mabel yelled
"Mabel you don't control me"Dipper said mad
"Umm I'll be downstairs with Mr.Pines"Soos said walking slowly out of the room
"I can't believe you Dipper"Mabel said
"Look Mabel I'm sorry but that's why I need your help infact you did say you where a matchmaker"Dipper said
"Oh ok,let's get this show on a date"Mabel said
"Mabel that's stupid"Dipper said
"I don't care,Waddles get me some paper sheets it's going to be a long time until Dipper knows how to flirt"Mabel said "Hey!"Dipper yelled
Thanks Waddles,eww!"Mabel said picking the chewed paper sheet.Mabel started writing on the sheet
"Mabel what's that?"Dipper asked
"A list of things you need for tomorrow's class!"Mabel exclaimed
"Mabel the things on this list are stupid I mean a goat,butter,chocolate and a dandelion what is this arts and craft with a bit of cooking?"Dipper asked
"Just bring them if you want me to help you"Mabel said
"Ok,ok I will even if their stupid"Dipper said
"Great class is miss get out there and make us proud if you can"Mabel said
"I heard that"Dipper said
"I know"Mabel said
"Anyways I'll be with Soos"Dipper said leaving
"Wait Dipper,wait for me!"Mabel yelled
