One more chapter remaining!
I brought home Emily today. She was at my mom’s place the time I was still grieving your death. She has beautiful brown eyes just like yours. In a lot of ways, she’s you. I’m happy for that. A part of you resides in her. I promise you, I will take care of her and watch over her as she grows up. Did you know she loved evening strolls, slow music and afternoon naps just like you? Wish you were here to teach her and look after her.
