Lucifer was confused. ,,I'm sorry, what?"

,,I-I want you to...to wait outside Doctor Martin's office, until m-my own session is over." Now he let out a sigh. Finally he told him. But Larry was afraid of what Lucifer might do to him now.

,,Oh, I won't do anything to you that you don't want!

As for the other part...I'm sorry."

Now it was Larrys turn to be confused. ,,Wh-what?"

,,I'm sorry, I apologise...I interrupted countless of your therapy sessions without thinking it might have a negative effect on the patient.

You most certainly don't need therapy as much as I do...well, maybe you do now, but therapy is utterly important, at least if you are a fallen Angel who just became God...and of course if you are a more or less normal human.

Everyone needs to be given a certain time during which they are able process things and get some very helpful advice.

Larry definitely didn't expect that. In some ways, the devil reminded him of himself. For example the part about not being able to cope with ones feelings. He also noticed some other behaviours, but put these thoughts away for that moment. He just met Lucifer, so he couldn't say for sure yet, if the creature really was like him, or if it was normal for a celestial to behave that way.

Larry heard a ,,Not that I would know of..." from Lucifer, who now thought about exactly that.

Was it a bad thing to think he might actually have something in common with the devil...or God? And was it even worse that he felt like he wanted to get to know the being some more?

Lucifer was stunned. That guy really wanted to be friends...or whatever, with him, even though he knew who he was?

The Lightbringer already had been more than surprised when his friends accepted him, but an almost complete stranger trusted him that much?

,,I assure you, there is nothing wrong with that, although I'm a little confused. Are you sure you processed who...what I am? Because most people would already be gone by now..."

,,I-I...well, I'm n-not most people then...am I?" Again, Larry gave the Lightbringer a shy smile.

Lucifer was beyond confused. But happy. ,,It seems you aren't!"

He then looked at his phone. ,,Oh dearie me, in only a few minutes my friends and I have a very important meeting here at LUX.

I believe it's time for you to leave now, my dear! If we had more time, I would have been delighted to get to know you more.

But don't worry, I'll find a way to contact you. You are far too interesting to let go!"

,,Y-you want to get to know me...be-because you f-find me interesting?" Larry asked happily confused.

,,Well...yes!" Lucifer shrugged.

,,S-so...now, what?"

,,Well, obviously it won't be the last time we will see each other, so you go your way, I go mine, and when the time comes, we'll meet again. Which, of course won't be that long."

Hesitantly he added ,,Besides...if you feel the need to see me sooner, just think of me or my name, and I will most likely be there. Just...Don't interrupt the Detective and me, when we...share a moment, will you? We had enough of these in the past, and certainly don't need any more."

Somehow, both of them felt a connection. But neither of them did know what it was.

,,Y-yeah...thank you...L-Lucifer." Larry didn't dare to look into those beautiful eyes.

,,No, the pleasure was all mine...Larry. Thank you for keeping me company!

You know...I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship, don't you?"

Before Larry could turn around to step into the elevator, it dinged.

It was Chloe.

,,Hey Lucifer, I thought I should come a little earlier...oh, I didn't know you expected more visitors?

,,I didn't, Detective. Let me introduce you to the Doctor's other patient.

Larry, Chloe. Chloe, this is Larry."

,,Uh...hey, Larry. So...are you and Lucifer close?"

The man didn't know what to answer. After all, they just met, but there undeniably was a bond between them.

,,Larryboy here is very shy. They wanted to leave now anyway..."

When Lucifer addressed Larry with 'They', he looked confused for a second, but then smiled shyly. It didn't matter how the Angel knew, the only thing that was important, was that Lucifer accepted Larry.

The young man slowly stepped into the elevator, but before the doors closed, he heard ,,But you need to tell me what you think we have in common, sometime! Bye now, glad we got to talk!" from Lucifer.

,,Well, that was interesting...Now Detective, there is a lot to discuss...!" He told her excitedly.
