I kept the breakfast on the table just as he came out, looking fresh as ever. His hair is wet and pushed back with what I'm guessing are his fingers.

"My shirt smells like you." He comments before taking a seat. "Is this all for me?" He asks when I don't reply to his previous comment. What a ridiculous question, I know how much his giant body needs food.

"Yup."

"Thanks." He murmurs before digging in. As he takes his last sip, a short brunette walks out just in her bra & thong. What the fuck.

I stand in front of Chase shielding him from the view, he hasn't noticed her yet as his back is turned to her.

I give her a go away look but she ignores it, strutting into my kitchen, her ass on display for us. What in the fuck is wrong with this girl.

"Malea?" I say, checking if that's her name or not.

"Yes?" Oh god, she's talking in a baby voice.

"Do you mind putting on some clothes?"

"Oh, I didn't know Luke would be having guests." She giggles.

"I live here. Now please? A little decency?" I give her a fake smile. She ignores me, looking at Chase.

"Hi, I'm Malea." She says to him, forwarding her hand which he so nicely ignores and looks at me.

"Bye." He says before getting up and going to my room, after collecting his things he leaves.

"Was that your boyfriend?" She asks me once the door is closed.

"No."

"Is he single?" She beams.

"No." Not for you.

"Oh, so is he your brother?"

"No." She's pissing me off now.

"If-" She stops when Luke enters the kitchen. "What are you doing out here? I asked you to stay there." He says to her.

"I heard voices out here, thought about checking." She says, her voice perfectly normal now.

"I'll drop you home." He says, dragging her back to his room before giving me an I'm sorry look.

5 minutes later a dressed Malea comes out with Luke and they both leave. I go to my room, changing into a black full sleeved turtleneck tucked into black bellbottoms pairing them with black stilletos. I'm feeling black today.

I greet Layla as I enter the building.

"You're late." She says, she has gone to a lighter shade of pink. It's more decent than the neons.

"Eh. Mr. Black isn't coming today, he won't know."

"But he-" I cut her off.

"Don't worry about me, I'll be fine." I tell her before going towards the lifts.

"Hi Caleb." I say, looking at Caleb already in there.

"Hi Celeste." He says happily.

"You're happy today, good morning?"

"Yeah, my boyfriend moved in with me yesterday." He says, blushing a little. Boyfriend? He has a boyfriend? Chase was right? What the fuck? My crush? Why?

"Congrats." I say when I realise he's waiting for a response.

"Thank you." He smiles.

He steps out on his floor. "See you later Celeste." He says as the doors close.

"Hi Lydia." I greet the receptionist on our floor before attempting a ballerina move.

"Why so happy today?" She asks, laughing at my failed attempt at dancing.

"Because satan isn't coming today." I say.

"Oh." Her eyes widen listening to me saying the nickname I gave in loud.

"I'm going to spend my day with Mel and Logan. You can join us too. I rescheduled all his meetings yesterday, no one will visit. And oh, you can take a looong lunch. I won't tell anyone, I'll be doing the same." I sigh happily.

I hear a throat clear behind me. I don't need to turn, I'd recognise that cologne anywhere.

"What are you doing here?" I ask.

"My office Miss Reed. Now." He says before going to his office.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I whisper-yell at Lydia.

"As if you gave me a chance to speak." She rolls her eyes. "Now hurry." She says.

I take slow steps towards his office and as usual, I enter without knocking. "You're supposed to be resting." I say as I fold my arms.

"I'm fine."

"No you're not. Take the day off. You don't have anything to do anyway. I pushed all your meetings to tomorrow."

"Rearrange them." He says.

I can't with his arguments. He can argue with a rock and still win.

"No. Go home."

He sighs, resting his head back on his chair. "I have nothing to do and I can't sleep for a whole day. Now Celeste, go and rearrange the meetings you can and get me a coffee."

"No, you already had your coffee, too much coffee is bad for your health."

"Fine. Go away now."

"No. You go home."

He stands up, walking close to the glass wall. I think it's his way of ignoring me. "You're giving me a headache." He says.

"You are giving me a headache."

He turns with a scowl on his face. "I had a fever, but now I'm okay. What's the big deal?" He snaps.

"Your body needs rest!"

He walks over to me, poking my forehead. "It's my body. I decide if it needs rest or not."

I am so close to punching his face right now. "Give me a break big guy. Go home and rest."

"No."

"I'll..I'll hug you if you don't go home." I threatened.

"Is that supposed to be a threat?" He asks.

"Yes."

He raises an eyebrow. "Go on." He challenges. I narrow my eyes stepping forward but a knock on the door interrupts us. Saved by the door.
