The scene starts with Annika, sitting alone, waiting for her order. She taps her foot on the floor, her stomach grumbles from hunger, and her mind is wandering somewhere else.
Minutes later, a guy sits beside her table. Both of them are alone. Annika glances at him but doesn't say anything. She looks around the place and sees that the restaurant is almost full. She heaves a sigh and continues to tap her foot on the floor, loudly this time, making the man beside her look.
The man raises an eyebrow but won't say anything. He opens his phone and starts scrolling on his social media apps. Annika lets out a sigh again and leans back, tilting her head from side to side.
ANNIKA
What's taking them so long?
CEDRIC
They're understaffed
Annika looks at the man beside her and sees him looking at her.
ANNIKA

The resto. They're understaffed, that's why it takes time to prepare every order
She looks around the place again and he's right. Annika looks at the guy and he smiles at her.
