*Colby's pov*
I shouldn't have said that at all. I kneel down next to Gem she collapsed due to having a flashback.
"Colby what the fuck did you do" Sam screams while pulling out his phone to call 911
"We had an argument and I said that we should have left her to die" I stutter
I help Sam carry Gem to a sun lounger we notice shes going extremely cold and pale. The ambulance arrives withing minutes and they take her away without telling us anything. Sam sends everyone home
"Bro she is never gonna forgive you if she makes it" Jake speaks up
"I tried telling her how i felt but she got angry and so did i.." I drop my head and watch tears fall on the ground
"I will drive you to the hospital Kat said the rest of you will help clean up" Sam says helping me up
*Time skip to in the hospital*
"Is she okay?" Sam coughs
"You should be lucky we got her here when we did or else she would not have made it" The doctor speaks "Shes in a stable condition, you can see her but if she wakes up let us know"
Sam nods and we walk into her room, her head is bandaged and she looks so peaceful. I feel tears pour out my eyes as I get close. I did this.
We sit here for what feels and probably was hours. Sam has fell asleep in the chair and I sit and look at how peaceful she looks. I see her eyes start to move and she slowly opens them. I stand up and press the doctor call button.
"Leave please" was all she could cough up
"No I did this and now I'm going to make sure it doesn't happen again" I say softly
As she was about to speak again the doctor walks in and checks up on her.
"She will be a little unstable when she leaves so you two will have to take turns taking care of her incase it happens again" The doctor turns to me and says before leaving
"I'll get the car warmed up" Sam says walking out the door
"Gem" I sniff
"How could you make me possibly feel worse...." She cries
"I'm sorry, I love you"
