HM DISTURBED

The next day HM reached thana in her usual style and saw all of them doing bakaithi.

"Jai Hind" she said to grab their attention.

"Jai Hind Maddam" they greeted her back.

She went to her seat and started doing her work. After some time, KS came out of her cabin and saw HM working. At first, she(KS) was lost in her(HM) seeing her working with complete dedication. But soon composed herself.

"Haseena" Karishma said to grab her attention

"Jai Hind MS" she said standing up from her chair

KS- aap kab ayi?

HM- thodi der pehle

KS- phir ham se milne kyu nahi aayi?

HM- woh aap busy the....toh i thought aapko disturb na kare

"are isme disturb kaise....ham toh aapke hi hai...aur hamara time bhi aapka" she said coming closer and HM moved backwards.

KS- kya hua hamara paas aana aapko accha nahi lagta?

"nahi aisi baat nahi hai...woh...woh ham thane mei ha na iss liye" she said without making any eye contact.

"aap teekh ho na?" KS asked

HM- haa....ham teekh hai...aap aise kyu pooch rahi hai?

"kuch nahi" she said and turned to leave and then suddenly stopped and turned back "kahi aap kal ke wajah se hamse naaraj toh nahi hai....I am really sorry hamko pata nahi kaise ho gaya...aage se ham aisa kabhi nahi karenge...please aap hamse naaraj mat hona....hamko accha nahi lagta"

HM- are MS aisi koi baat nahi hai....aap khamakha pareshan ho rahi hai....ham uss wajah se naaraz nahi hai aap se.

"matlab aap kisi aur wajah se naaraj hai...please batayiye na kya hua hai....ham aapki naarajgi jhel nahi payenge" she said

HM- kyu?

KS- kyu ka kaa matlab...pyar karte hai ham aapse

HM- sach mei?

KS- ofcourse

HM- hmmm

KS- aap batao aap naaraj kyu ho hamse?

HM- ham naaraz nahi hai....koi case ke baare mei soch rahe the aur kuch nahi

KS- pakka naaraj nahi ho na?

HM nodded her head negatively and sat down on her chair and resumed her work and KS went to her cabin. 

HM looked towards her cabin with brim eyes and thought to herself "kyu kiya aapne aisa?"

It was lunch time and KS came to HM "aap hamare saath lunch karne chalogi?"

HM- sorry MS hame bohot zaroori kaam se bahar jaana hai...aap baaki sab ke saath lunch keejiye....ham baad mei kar lenge

KS face fell listening to her but she did not know why.

"woh MS hame aaj half day chahiye thi" HM said to KS

"kyu? aapki tabyat toh teekh hai" she asked touching her forehead and out of genuine concern

HM moved a little backwards "ham bilkul teekh hai MS....woh kuch personal kaam se jaana tha...please aap half day grant kar sakti ho?"

KS agreed to her half-heartedly. HM left the thana. KS was sitting in her cabin after lunch and was drowned in her thoughts.

"aaj woh ham se aise kyu behave kar rahi thi....kahi naaraj toh nahi hai hamse? aur aaj half day kyu liya? ham unhe miss kyu kar rahe hai....hamko kyu fark pad raha hai agar woh hamse naaraj hai toh...ham toh unse pyaar ka naatak kar rahe hai na....shayd ham kuch jyaada soch rahe hai"

Her thoughts were disturbed by a call. "ji sir bohot jald ham un tak pohonch jayenge....HM hampe bharosa karti hai...ham hamare lakshya ke bohot kareeb hai....ham hamare desh ko zaroor bachayenge sir...Jai Hind Sir". She ended the call and thought to herself..."iss mission mei kuch gadbad nahi honi chahiye...KS focus on the mission"

Unknown to her someone was listening to her phone conversation.

Who is that person?
