𝗨𝗡𝗕𝗔𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗗 𝗢𝗙 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 ─ 𝗦𝗨𝗡𝗞𝗜

스물 여덟. First display of affection.

Niki sucked on his teeth and tried to grab Sunoo's shoulder to tell him to ignore everyone's words but Sunoo walked even faster to their classroom.

"Kim, Nishimura, what causes your tardiness?"

"Sorry ma'am, Sunoo and I's bus arrived late."

"They went to school together?" 

"I guess they really are dating.."

"No!"

The class turned their heads to Sunoo, as Niki raised an eyebrow.

"To what do you reject of, Mr Kim?"

"A-Ah..I..I-I said no cause, I must have forgotten a book back home?" Sunoo made up a quick excuse as the teacher rolled her eyes and gestured for the two to take their seats.

"For this end of term assignment, you're going to need to make a 3500 word essay about the society's development containing images and detailed description about every civilization." The class groaned, hearing every word roll out of their professsor's mouth.

"Shush! The year is ending, it's already the start of your winter break in 3 weeks! You all are in 12th grade, I expect all of you to do your best till the end of the year in a few months. You all are going to be paired up for this assignment. Luckily, I will give you all freedom and let you choose your partners."

The whole class cooed and went to their friends' seats and asked each other to be partners as Niki turned his head to Sunoo who was behind him on the right, his fingers touching his phone as Niki smiled.

Sunoo pressed sent as his table was knocked on, looking up to see Niki smiling.

"Partners?" 

"H-Huh? Oh, yeah of course." Sunoo smiled back, placing his phone back under his desk as Niki grabbed a chair and sat on it to face Sunoo.

"Who were you texting?" Niki pouted, as Sunoo smiled, leaning closer to close his eyes and shaking his head.

"My mom, you jealous brat." Niki scoffed, leaning closer as Sunoo widened his eyes and leaned back, looking at the room and everyone was doing their own thing.

"Y-Yah! I told you to keep us a secret! Not here.." Sunoo hissed at Niki with annoyance and shame in his tone as Niki smiled.

"Okay, I'll do it later then." Niki whispered, as Sunoo growled at him.

"Hyung, what's your favorite food again?" Jungwon came at Sunoo's desk, as Sunoo tilted his head.

"Tteokbokki and Mint choco. Why do you ask?" 

Jungwon brought his phone out and Sunoo saw the message.

Auntie Kim.

Jungwon-ah, go ask Sunoo what he wants to eat for his birthday. His birthday is in a week and we need food and gift ideas, thank you!

Sunoo sighed, throwing his head back.

"She asked me that too.." Sunoo heavily groaned, as Niki's eyes flickered.

"Ask what?"

"Ah, Sunoo hyung's birthday is in a week." Jungwon explained as Jay came in and sat on a desk.

"Just gift him chocolate and toothpaste, right Sunoo?"

Sunoo hissed at the older, as Jungwon rushed to stop the two from bickering.

Niki's eyes averted from the floor to Sunoo, thinking of what to gift his dear boyfriend.

"What? I'm telling the truth-"

"Jongseong, Shush!"

"Did you just call your boyfriend Jongseong?"

"Yes, isn't that your name? What am I supposed to call you, Fergus?"

Jay and Jungwon bickered, going back to their seats as Sunoo stuck his tongue out at Jay.

"Sunoo hyung."

"Hm?" Sunoo turned his head to Niki.

"Is there...any film you would like to watch?" Niki raised his eyebrows, hoping to get an answer.

"Hm, maybe? There's this movie called La la land, Heeseung hyung said it's a good film, so I kinda wanna watch it. Why?" 

"Ah..nothing, just asking for film recommendations." Sunoo nodded as Niki's head popped up a lightbulb.

"Hyung, are there any notes for the assignment so we can split the job?"

Sunoo's mouth turned to an o, pulling his book out and changing his chair's position and placing it beside Niki's.

Sunoo flipped through the pages and folded the corners to the most needed pages. Niki's eyes didn't move away from Sunoo's face, admiring him.

His soft and small lips, his sharp nose, his fluffy hair, his squishy cheeks, Niki's lips curved up a smile.

"Class dismissed!" The class rushed out including Jay and Jungwon who was still teasing each other, until it was just the two of them in the room.

"I folded them so you don't have a hard time finding the topics-" Sunoo turned his head as to his eyes averted to Niki's lips.

"My house?" Niki mumbled, his eyes as well on Sunoo's lips as the older gulped.

"F-For?"

"The assignment." Niki asked as Sunoo's eyes flickered, neither of their faces weren't moving.

"S-Sure.." Sunoo scooted his seat further, only to be pulled closer and get kissed on the top of his head.

It was like background music was playing at that moment. Sure they kissed on the lips before, but this gave Sunoo even more butterflies for it was unexpected and sweet.

Niki pulled away and patted the older's head and throwing his bag over his shoulder.

"Next time it's on the lips."

Sunoo squealed as soon as Niki went out of the room, snapping back to reality and packing his things.

Now he's even more excited to work on the assignment and his birthday.

One of the lines here is inspired by one of my favorite and recently watched dramas, A little thing called first love. It's a really really good chinese drama, Lai Kuanlin my love is also the male lead there so go watch it :< Also, sorry for not updating! Been catching up with difficult assignments, didn't know 8th grade would be this hard kjgnkdjlhjrkj ,, Anyways, here's a chapter, will try my best to post at least once or twice a week now, stay safe and healthy everyone!!^^
