Looking down, Pei Gu gave a sarcastic smile, "I'll give them to you, in exchange for the women in your team. The woman behind you looked especially delicious, I wonder if her body could satisfy me?"

His eyes were directed at Chen Ling, who cowered after meeting his repulsive gaze. Her hand clutched Zhu Liwei's clothes tightly, as if trying to find a harbor that could protect her.

Zhu Liwei's gaze narrowed dangerously, his face was already twisted in anger, "Don't go too far! You should be thankful that I even gave you a way out!"

Pei Gu sneered, "If you wanted to give me a way out, then you should've done it sincerely!"

His hands clamped into a fist. His earth power coated it to form a thick layer of slab. With great force, the man targeted his fist towards Zhu Liwei's stomach.

He roared, "I'll defeat you and take all the women in your team! I'll especially take extra care of your woman for you!"

Zhu Liwei, who had anticipated his movement, coated his fists with his fire power as he punched Pei Gu on his face. The man was immediately hurled back to the wall behind him, and a loud crack announced his broken bones.

"Tch. I should've done this much sooner. I can't believe I had to engage in a conversation with a dumb pig." His cold voice turned the atmosphere into a freezing point.

Amidst the rubble, you can see Pei Gu's carcass lying dead against the wall. His eyes were wide open in shock, and blood spurted out from his mouth. It seemed that the punch caused great damage to his brain, as not a second later, he stopped breathing.

The rest of the deserters watched as their leader was killed with one punch, and their shocked countenance slowly turned pale.

"Clean up the rest of these deserters," Zhu Liwei snorted disdainfully, "Group D, bring all these victims back to the Safe Zone immediately to get them treated."

"Understood."

Chen Hua watched the team scurry about. Some projected their ability towards the escaping deserters. Others unleashed all the kidnapped women and brought them to safety. The rest buried all the dead corpses of the victims who had died unjustly.

Chen Hua suddenly noticed that Zhi An had been silent throughout the charade. His head turned back to look at Zhi An.

"These scum don't deserve to live. If Zhu Liwei hadn't killed him, I—" His words halted when he noticed the pale expression on Zhi An's face.

"Zhi An, what's wrong?"

At this moment, Chen Hua noticed something was wrong with him. The man's countenance was bloodless, his lips were purple, and his heart was beating too fast.

Chen Hua didn't know that the scene of Pei Gu abusing the female victim had induced a panic attack in Zhi An's memories.
